Exellent Blu-ray player

I have had many Sony Blu-ray players. All were good but with some glitches. Would freeze up occasionally and require unplugging. This UHD player is the best Sony I have ever owned. The picture is just excellent on both 4K and Blu-ray discs. Have never had freeze ups or ANY problems with this player. Highly recommend.

Great 4k player!

I looked at this and the newer/more expensive version but all the reviews said to stick with this one. They were right. This boots up very quickly and produces fantastic video and audio. There are no cons with this machine. I also picked it up for $100 off during a holiday promotion, which was nice.

Exactly what I was looking for

The unit just stopped working altogether and I take care of my equipment.= well so I got what I paid for. Out of the box this SONY unit was very nice. Easy to setup and easy to use. So long as it lasts (I hope), the capability and performance matches the value I paid for it.

Even my home videos look better than they did with my old player. And, I had a disk that wouldn't even play in my old player and this new Sony has no issues playing it with amazing digital quality! Thank you, Best Buy for offering this player at a great price!

I haven’t experienced any issues yet. It has an excellent picture quality and the standard def DVD upscale is far better than the average player. Really cleans up the image to offer the best picture quality you can get out of standard def. blu rays and UHD disc look very crisp, clear and vibrant.
