This was definitely worth the price as we have a host of DVDs and did not want to repurchase any of the movies in Blu-Ray.

This plug and play streaming 4K UHD player works nicely. Its preloaded with apps so you can get rid of stick devices that clog the back of the tv. Not a terrible price, but considering the movement away from physical devices, the price is a little high.

The only disappointment is that there's not a lot of outputs on the back for recording off of it--like no RCA jacks. (Yes, I'm old-school ...) Otherwise I'm happy with it so far. (Except also for when it went on sale for $20 less a couple weeks after I bought it!)

Paired with the LG 65B9OLED mainly for movies. They work really well together. The player was easy to set up and has worked very well for me. 4K movies are awesome (star wars 8 blew me away in 4K). Bluray disks play back better than my prior bluray player. loads quickly, no lag in the remote.

I’ve owned several Sony dvd players before, but this is my first 4k player. My only complaint (a small one) is that I wish this device had more built in streaming apps to choose from as it only has Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Tubi, Vudu, Amazon, and Pandora.
