Good Ultra HD 4k blu Ray Player

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While its not an OPPo or other Super high end players the Sony x700 is a no brainer for anyone with a good 4k tv or projector and sound system, with the ability to buy stream atmos and having Dolby Vision via software update for the money it’s a steal. Physical media makes the difference ina home theater. Still the best audio and video quality.

4k Success

It was a few years old and started glitches my 4k movies. Not all but most. This player actually plays my movies and the audio is much better than the LG I had. Now, I just need to upgrade my TV to a Sony.

I’ve owned several Sony dvd players before, but this is my first 4k player. My only complaint (a small one) is that I wish this device had more built in streaming apps to choose from as it only has Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Tubi, Vudu, Amazon, and Pandora.

Set up easy

I only set up today so I really can not tell you anything further than today so far so good. I was it came with a cable but it did not. I purchased a good 4UK high definition cable elsewhere though for 19.99 .

When people told me that audio and video would be improved with a sony, It went in one ear and out the other. I was so wrong. This 4k player blows my samsung out of the water in both audio and video. Even streaming looks better. The only issues I have with it is that disney plus isn't available, and youtube seems to have a mind of its own. Other than that, excellent.

Excellent 4K BluRay/DVD Player

My old BluRay Player gave up the ghost and I though I'd get ahead of the game. It plays BluRay disks and DVDs fine and has built in apps that make it easy to connect to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Pandora and other services through it. Compact and barely leaves a footprint amid my A/V equipment.
