I have had many types of DVD player and Blu Ray player, but when I bought Sony Blu Ray player I never had a problem with it at all,so when I wanted to up graded to a 4k player I bought Sony I have not any problem since I bought this player I rememaned this player to anyone looking for a 4k player

Great blu ray player & just what I needed, great price with the black Friday sale. While researching brands & models I'd seen this one was able to use for HBO Max but haven't figured out how to add that yet. Everything else is exactly what I was looking for & simple to use for all apps.

Great quality and no issues with this Blu-ray player. As with many home entertainment devices these days, it has built-in apps from a limited app store that do the job they're intended for. I just wish that I could uninstall (or hide) some of these and customize the home screen more.

This 4K player goes above and beyond of what you would expect for a lower priced player. This player allows you to play Dolby Vision content and transmit Dolby Atmos audio which the more expensive models won't let you do. The only downfall is having to manually switch Dolby Vision on and off but that only takes a few seconds to do.

The total says it all, I’ve been very happy with this player since I got it.....I use it as a flat blu ray player, all my smart apps I use off of my Roku but you buy a Blu-ray player like this for audio/picture quality production and it delivers. I upgraded from an XBox One-S and the frame rate and color accuracy issues I ran into with that player disappeared as soon as I plugged this in!

Unit works great. 4K very clear. Only problem is the Netflix app. On other brands it works fine but on this player it is very slow and to go from previewing one trailer to another it goes blank for a couple of seconds. It becomes excruciating after a while. Best to watch Netflix on a different device especially when previewing to determine what to watch.

While playing some newer discs on a Samsung UBD-K8500 player I noted a noticeable delay between the video and audio. Also, a very loud drive motor put a nail in that player's proverbial coffin. We upgraded to this Sony device and have been unable to duplicate the behavior since. This unit is a great replacement to that young old Samsung,

I had a regular Blue ray 4K player and thought that my 4K movies looked really good. then I got this player that is a true 4K player and it was noticeable right away. the picture was brighter and sharper. I didn't think it would make a difference but it did. I got this on black Friday cheap so I took a chance and glad I did.

This Sony Blu-Ray player is the best one I've owned yet. Besides being a great Blu-Ray and DVD player, it comes with a ton of apps for viewing other content...whether online or from a USB. If you're looking for a GREAT Blu-Ray player +, I highly recommend this model. Picture quality is Awesome!

A lot slower than it predicessor, x800m2. For this one, u have to go into the settings to turn on the Atmos Visions and once its on, it's on all the time. It's not auto and it can be annoying because u don't know if it's real or fake Vision. Remote is hard to use and takes awhile before the info to get to the player.

I bought this for my daughters because they have a boat load of DVDs and Blu-Rays, but I've used it for myself more than anything. I also bought a sound bar and a couple of surround sound speakers to go with it, and i haven't had any issues at all. I wish i would've bought these things sooner!!!
