I bought this product during black Friday. Was going to by the samsung, which was priced higher,then I talked to one of the sales staff and he recommended this Sony 4K player. The picture quality is clear and crisp. This player was less then samsung and Sony brand resonates with quality.

We bought a 4K TV a couple of years ago and now the movies are coming out faster and faster in 4K format. I buy movies I love because you never know when they will not be available. Since this Sony is backwards compatible, it works perfectly for current 4K movies I buy and for my older beloved movies. I'm really enjoying it.

I bought this for my grandmom because she purchased the Downtown Abby dvd collection... she watched the first disk and then gave up on it. It took me more time to set it up and teach her how to use it than time spent actually using it! I like it a lot and am def keeping it. Her loss lol

I haven’t tried it out yet since this is a Father’s Day present but once I do I will give my reading update! When I observed in Lou Bega find a Blu-ray player at everything that my dad would need such as Netflix and YouTube. I know he’ll love it and once he uses it I will definitely update!

The Sony Player does not look like much but it plays everything you throw at it!! It's made of cheap plastic and feels very light but the quality of the image in 4K is amazing and the streaming apps feature is nice, they load fast and also render in 4K. I chose this player because of its smaller form factor and it does not take up alot of space on my entertainment center. I highly recommend.

This Player will play Every kind of CD, or DVD you own! High Quality Sound and Picture! It even has a Dedicated audio out for Music Cd's! It's an HDMI audio out. and an HDMI Video out for DVD's which carries it's own audio signal. I Love It! The price is excellent compared to the Quality, Features, and Value!

Very Good Picture Quality! Easy to Use! Easy Set Up

Definitely an improvement from our old first gen Blu-Ray player. The picture quality is definitely an improvement, although I found the picture a little contrasty. Sony's menu system and 'smart' features look pretty dated, functional, but could use a better UI designer. Don't care for the plastic cover that drops down from the disc tray, but not a deal breaker. Would still buy again for sure!

It works great with my 4K TV. It came with 2 free movies. But I drove all the way to Albany and the employee at the store failed to put it in the bag. Now is a good time to buy one the price is much lower than the $350 that I paid plus the extra trip of 70 miles to pick it up from the store.

A good quality 4k dvd player, slightly lags and sometimes hangs up with ejecting dvds

This is my second unit. I purchased one for my old Vizio 3d TV and was blown away by the picture quality. Just bought a Q6F 65 inch TV and bought another ubp x700. They paired well together. This unit plays everything. Don't get caught up in it's small appearance. It is the best price best unit in the market.

Plugged it in to my New Sony TV, it started asking me questions rite away to set it up, picture is great... It is however twice the size of my old Blue Ray Player, not sure why All the Companys are going for huge instead of Compact....if you have the room its no big deal.

It displays a very good picture and sound. It's easy to set up and use.

The unit was simple to connect. The setup was straightforward. I am still learning about 4K and how to get the most out it. My other BluRay and non Blu Ray disks are playing well without problems. This unit has a few more streaming channels than others but more cannot be added. Added to my Roku and antenna this player gave me the incentive to drop cable.

Works fine - easy to hook up and play DVD's, BluRay and 4K movies.

I got this with a Sony 65" X900F TV and a Sony X900F soundbar. Saved $850 with pre Black Friday prices. I had another Blu-Ray player. This one is faster to load by far. I am amazed by the quality of this product at the price I paid.
