Bought this to pair with my Samsung Q9F and we love it. Produces vibrant picture and great sound. Has lots of built in streaming apps you can use as well. Also, we have notice it makes old DVDs look much better as well, if you have some classics like we do, that you still like to watch.

I recently upgraded to a 4K TV, so naturally I need to upgrade to a 4K player. I can't really tell the difference so far, but I love that this player has a USB input in the front. You can load up moves on a pen drive and this player will play any file you throw at it. That's been worth the upgrade for me so far.

I read the many reviews on this player prior to purchase. Due to the pandemic, I ordered it online and then went to the store and waited for them to deliver it to me. It was an easy set up, the picture quality is awesome and it was well worth the money.

Set up was simple. While I have a lot of older DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, I only have a few newer ones that can take advantage of the units capabilites. One the few newer Ble-Rays that I have, the picture passed through to my new TV is nothing short of amazing!

This unit is so easy! Great picture and sound quality, upscale normal DVD's to near blu- ray quality. I have this unit paired with a Visio 4K. With everything powered off, all you have to do is turn on the player and it automatically turns on the TV and switches to the proper input. My wife loves this.

Ordered the Sony Blu-Ray player as our retirement gift to ourselves. It was shipped on time and arrived in great shape. Within an hour I had it hooked up to our Denon receiver and playing our movies. Very good quality and fits cleanly into our media cabinet.

Tired of hearing how great the Panasonic 820 is. I'm sure I'm not alone in that feeling. The Sony X700 is a great player and mine is working perfectly. Yes I have to manually switch between Dolby Vision and HDR10. It's a bug and I'm sure someday Sony will fix it....

Picture quality is great and loads fast. Love the features in the options section. Only minus is the remote is too small for me, but most brands are also making them smaller. Great for the price and would recommend it highly.

Not much of an upgrade from sony blu ray player regarding menu, setup, etc. In fact, fewer apps to install than previously available on blu ray player. Playback of 4k discs is great with a 4k HDMI cord, does upscale dvd, blu ray, and streaming services (to a certain degree). Have never had a problem with Sony products.

Received this for Christmas (ok, so I bought it on Black Friday for myself for $120) along with a couple 4K movies. I have to say adding this to my Sony 4K TV, has added an extra level of picture quality. It was easy to setup and had it ready to go in just a couple of minutes.

Has been a perfectly operational unit since purchase. The menu is good, input is responsive. It’s a Sony, so I expect no less. It’s nice and slim so it isn’t very obtrusive in the entertainment center, and looks pretty good too.
