Ended up keeping the x800 model as it performed well and had more audio upgrades which was important for me. In the end though all the Sony units are lacking in apps and support. Key apps are being dropped less than 2 years since release.

I upgraded my tv's to oled from lcd and decided to upgrade my 4k players too. Caught his on sale and am really impressed with it's features and performance. Can't go wrong with most any Sony media players. The pretty much invented media players.

I just bought a Sony 65in 4k tv (x850f series ) 4k tv. I wanted to replace my blue ray with a 4k one and ith picture and sound is great it has great features an is a great price. since it is a sony like a tv it syncs up and I was able to use setting because both are sony products

easy to operate good picture quality. remote works good also.

I would knock off s star for its tiny remote, but we use the LG magic remote to run it, even though all remote features cannot be used with the LG. A new disc froze once and had to restart unit, but other than that, very happy.

What can i really say its a Sony 4k Blu ray player it does what its supposed to do picture is great and love hearing the movies in Dolby atmos. My only gripe would be the apps i have trouble streaming amazon or Netflix on this player they freeze up a lot were my tv or other streaming products don't do this?

I have the Sony 700 blue-ray player paired with Sony 950h and Sonos arc w/sub. This makes for a great setup with either sports or movie viewing. The 700 is dynamic blue - ray player that I would highly recommend. Easy setup & WiFi paring.

This 4K BluRay Player transfers beautiful and rich colors to my 4K TV. The deep and clear black colors are perfect for displaying depth and clarity on my TV too. Great unit and easy to use make this my favorite player.

I had nothing but trouble with LG 4k blu ray player and bought this one. I couldn't be happier. Online mega store was $30 cheaper and BB online support matched the price in about 5 minutes and it was easy. Tons of features and fantastic picture quality. Recommend!!

Set up was simple, and works for what we need it for - watching movies and shows. We haven’t used the streaming features yet, but the overall menu is easy to navigate. Works with our HDMI extender, receiver and surround sound set up.

We had to upgrade to a 4K blu ray player after purchasing an Oled lg 4K tv. The 4K movies played on this looks like the people can jump right off the screen. When watching regular blu ray movies the picture looks much sharper now

Recently bought a 4K display and wanted to get a player to match that resolution. Didn’t realize it would also have Netflicks, Prime, Hulu, etc. abilities as well as wifi. This is a great player and at a great price. Easy set up and connectivity.

I am not into streaming and just wanted a player to replace my old Blu-Ray player that gave out. I think the best features are its WiFi capabilities and its ability to view JPEG photos from a flash drive. My older player had neither capability.

Quick load times, ultra HD 4k movies play great and it's an all new experience (be sure to have tv that can show 4k and the right HDMI cable). Its small in size so it does take up a lot of space. Would highly recommend this product.

This little BluRay spinner does a great job! The picture is clean and crisp, and the sound is top-notch! Is the picture and sound equal to much more expensive players? Not quite. But there isn't a huge difference between them. Give this player a shot!

The blu ray player was easy to set up and use. We have only used it a few times but it works perfectly. Have not streamed anything yet but would expect that to be fine. We bought this unit because it is a Sony and the features.

We're so happy we bought this on sale. It makes using apps on the TV simple. We like being able to watch youtube etc. on a big screen vs. a computer. The machine and remote are little and compact, user friendly and fairly simple to set up. There's also no lag time with the remote.
