Set up was simple, and works for what we need it for - watching movies and shows. We haven’t used the streaming features yet, but the overall menu is easy to navigate. Works with our HDMI extender, receiver and surround sound set up.

I can’t believe I finally found a BlueRay player. Works great and easy to setup. I tried other places that had them but the price was too high. Thanks Best Buy.

Quick load times, ultra HD 4k movies play great and it's an all new experience (be sure to have tv that can show 4k and the right HDMI cable). Its small in size so it does take up a lot of space. Would highly recommend this product.

I like the fact that this player actually tries to improve the picture quality of my DVDs and blueray movies. This with the UHD TV, I can see all the dark scenes better... So much detail, I'm going through all my movies to see what I have been missing.

This is easy to use, easy set up, quality is really good

The blu ray player was easy to set up and use. We have only used it a few times but it works perfectly. Have not streamed anything yet but would expect that to be fine. We bought this unit because it is a Sony and the features.

Works great so far. This is my 2nd Sony 4K player after my first Sony UHD-x800 stopped working after 2 years. I got this for almost half off so hey, why not give this model a chance. Thanks Best Buy

This is fantastic. When my old one gave up the ghost, I simply went by reviews as there are so many products out there like this. This Sony even plays old cds. It seems to even make my nice Pioneer receiver sound better. Recommend!

A very good blue ray player easy to play 4K and blue ray movies and regular movies. Very compact but well made. I’m very happy with my 4K and blue ray player. I would recommend it I’m loving it great Sony blue ray player.Purchase on 5/2/2020 .

Had to update a new player as the old one would not take Blue-Ray discs any longer. Hooked it up in minutes and it sounds and looks great through my 7.1 speaker system. Price was right during Christmas season and Best Buy's sale.

Excellent quality and name for a great value. The picture is so crisp and clear. This 4K dvd pairs well with its family member the Sony 4K XBR950. What a difference a great DVD player and TV make in the watching experience.

Plays 4k great! Plays other bluray and DVDs with great picture and sound also. Only dislike is it doesnt remember where I was at in the movie if I stop the movie and go to play it again. Oh well...small thing for an otherwise great value and great quality.

Got this player for $199 and couldn't be happier. Easy to set up and updated firmware to get Dolby Vision. Picture is great and so is sound. I came from the LG UP970 which was an ok player but was so loud. This one is nice and quiet. Minimal display but don't think really needed. Overall a great player. No stops, skips, etc so far on movies I have watched.

Awesome!! Very easy to set up. If I can do it, anyone can. Remote worked well with the unit as well as hooking it up to My surround sound. Yes, you could buy less expensive units, but Don't, this one is worth the extra dollar.

Upgraded my prior Sony unit with this one and I'm glad that I did. The picture is better on the Sony Z-series 4K television and the sound is also improved. Bluray disc load times have dropped too. Highly recommended Sony and this player.

Even though I don't really watch BluRay or DVD or Ultra DVD's, I did upgrade that since a bunch of the new tv's you have to upgrade your equipment to make it work. I don't watch many movies, but it is a good quality unit and makes it work well if you have a Sony TV too.

I purchased a new 65” tv. My old DVD player would not hook up to it. I bought this new blue ray/ DVD player. I love old movies. Even old black and white movies look good on my new tv. This has brought the joy of my old movies back into my family room.

I got this for Christmas and I like how clear the movies are this is my first 4k ultra Blu-ray player so I don`t have any thing to compare it to but I like what I see so far. This Blu- ray player is easy to use and it does no take up a lot of space.

Great 4K Ultra Blu-ray player for the price. Originally went with the UBP-X800 (no support for Dolby Vision) and returned that model for this one. Only issue with this model is if you have a Dolby Vision encoded 4K Blu-ray you have to set DV on and then turn it off for 4K Blu-rays that are not. Hopefully a firmware update from Sony will fix that issue.

Used only once, but the quality was terrific. Simple to install.
