I bought this to replace a BD player I purchased years ago. It was the first DB player Sony had with WIFI built in. It still worked, but we felt like it was time to upgrade to something a little newer with a better picture quality for our 4K TV.

My Blu-ray DVD player is high tech! It has built-in WiFi and streaming capabilities. It gives a more clearer and high quality picture. I love the fact that I can continue using my regular DVDs in the Blu-ray player. It connects to WiFi right away!

This is a great 4k player with dolby vision for a great price.

Bought it to pair with my Sony Bravia XBR 65" TV. Works well and picture is great. Ford vs Ferrari HDR is amazing in his unit. Does well with old DVD's too. The only word of caution, don't buy this for its APP offering. Get a Roku instead.

I bought this because of its ability to play SACDs (via HDMI, since most modern receivers under $2k don't have old-school 6 channel direct input), and I couldn't be happier, given the price. I already have recommended it to friends.

I really like this Sony - Streaming 4K Ultra HD player. It really takes the viewing experience up a notch over standard HD. Also I can tell by the weight and how smoothly the tray opens and closes that this is a durable player.

I bought this to go with my 4K TV that I purchased on on Black Friday. The player puts out fantastic videos and works easily. It has lots of free online channels including YouTube which makes it easy to stream 4K stuff. Wish it had a display built in the front of the machine.

This unit is compact and feature-packed. It was easy to set up and install. The quality paired with our Sony Bravia TV is a perfect match. It has all the features you want packed into a slim, stylish package. I recommend it highly.

Works great, the overall size is a lot smaller than the previous 4k player. Quite a bit lighter than the previous model. Only thing I didn't like was the remote was significantly smaller. Didn't fit my hand very well.

Easy to use and set up. Plays great. Do wish it had more apps.

Perfect. Inexpensive, very compact, setup played nice with other components (Samsung), and works great. I'll add that I've had consistently overall great success with Sony electronics. Oh, and extremely quick ship from Best Buy!

This player doesn't have alot of buttons or look like it has many features but I personally like the simplicity of the player and trust me if has all the bells and whistles you would need to play 4K with great sound quality

This has an excellent picture and I was able to connect it to my Tv through my Sony Receiver . The sound and picture are out of this world.i would recommend to anyone looking for a 4K player

Easy to set up and easy Netflix access. I bought this to primarily be able to watch Netflix on my projector screen and not for the blu-ray feature. I haven't watched any blu-ray discs so I am not sure how ell they display.

Easy to set up. Cables not included. Remote and batteries concluded. Great picture. Not sure why there are negative reviews. I received the player on July 9th. Plays blue rays and regular dvds. I use this with a monitor and not a TV.

I already have a Sony 4K UHD television and previously had it paired with a Samsung player. Sometimes the two didn't always cooperate, so figured I would get a new Sony player and that really did the trick. Great picture quality and plays nicely between the components.

I told myself I wasn’t going to get a 4K player right away after getting a new 4K TV. But when I found this for half price on Cyber Monday I bit. So far, so good. No complaints on presentation of movies, but no comment on the apps because I use Apple TV. Interface is very dated, but overall I am pleased with this purchase.

Our old Sony blu ray player of over 15 years finally went kaput. Bought this one and it seems to be doing a bang up job. The family is happy with it and it also does 4K so we will have to buy a couple of them and see how they do.

I've had this for a few months. It's the best Blue Ray player I've ever had delivering outstanding picture quality and phenomenal audio performance. It cost more than I anticipated, but it certainly was more than worth it.

So far it has been very easy to use no issues. I was reluctant to buy it, but glad I did. Pretty straight forward, no Mickey Mouse gimmicks. For me, the picture is great, sound is subjective, but it’s all good. Would recommend this to others.
