I purchased a new 65” tv. My old DVD player would not hook up to it. I bought this new blue ray/ DVD player. I love old movies. Even old black and white movies look good on my new tv. This has brought the joy of my old movies back into my family room.

My Blu-ray DVD player is high tech! It has built-in WiFi and streaming capabilities. It gives a more clearer and high quality picture. I love the fact that I can continue using my regular DVDs in the Blu-ray player. It connects to WiFi right away!

This player doesn't have alot of buttons or look like it has many features but I personally like the simplicity of the player and trust me if has all the bells and whistles you would need to play 4K with great sound quality

This unit is compact and feature-packed. It was easy to set up and install. The quality paired with our Sony Bravia TV is a perfect match. It has all the features you want packed into a slim, stylish package. I recommend it highly.

Perfect. Inexpensive, very compact, setup played nice with other components (Samsung), and works great. I'll add that I've had consistently overall great success with Sony electronics. Oh, and extremely quick ship from Best Buy!

Got this player for $199 and couldn't be happier. Easy to set up and updated firmware to get Dolby Vision. Picture is great and so is sound. I came from the LG UP970 which was an ok player but was so loud. This one is nice and quiet. Minimal display but don't think really needed. Overall a great player. No stops, skips, etc so far on movies I have watched.

Easy to set up and easy Netflix access. I bought this to primarily be able to watch Netflix on my projector screen and not for the blu-ray feature. I haven't watched any blu-ray discs so I am not sure how ell they display.

Even though I don't really watch BluRay or DVD or Ultra DVD's, I did upgrade that since a bunch of the new tv's you have to upgrade your equipment to make it work. I don't watch many movies, but it is a good quality unit and makes it work well if you have a Sony TV too.

Great 4K Ultra Blu-ray player for the price. Originally went with the UBP-X800 (no support for Dolby Vision) and returned that model for this one. Only issue with this model is if you have a Dolby Vision encoded 4K Blu-ray you have to set DV on and then turn it off for 4K Blu-rays that are not. Hopefully a firmware update from Sony will fix that issue.

Used only once, but the quality was terrific. Simple to install.

This is a great 4k player with dolby vision for a great price.

All the best features but plastic/ cheap feeling. Movies on uhd Blu-ray’s still look and sound better than streaming to me, if you are like that it’s worth to purchase.

I bought this to go with my 4K TV that I purchased on on Black Friday. The player puts out fantastic videos and works easily. It has lots of free online channels including YouTube which makes it easy to stream 4K stuff. Wish it had a display built in the front of the machine.

This has an excellent picture and I was able to connect it to my Tv through my Sony Receiver . The sound and picture are out of this world.i would recommend to anyone looking for a 4K player

Easy to set up. Cables not included. Remote and batteries concluded. Great picture. Not sure why there are negative reviews. I received the player on July 9th. Plays blue rays and regular dvds. I use this with a monitor and not a TV.

I have read reviews complaining about noisy and slow boot up ...... but I found this player to be perfectly fine. The video quality is awesome and Dolby Atmosphere is great. No complaint. Actually it’s a great buy.

I've had this for a few months. It's the best Blue Ray player I've ever had delivering outstanding picture quality and phenomenal audio performance. It cost more than I anticipated, but it certainly was more than worth it.

Easy to use and set up. Plays great. Do wish it had more apps.

Our old Sony blu ray player of over 15 years finally went kaput. Bought this one and it seems to be doing a bang up job. The family is happy with it and it also does 4K so we will have to buy a couple of them and see how they do.

I told myself I wasn’t going to get a 4K player right away after getting a new 4K TV. But when I found this for half price on Cyber Monday I bit. So far, so good. No complaints on presentation of movies, but no comment on the apps because I use Apple TV. Interface is very dated, but overall I am pleased with this purchase.
