This was a great Christmas gift that I could have asked for. The movie goes in so clear and crisp. You never could go wrong with Sony either. Also comes with Netflix and Amazon Prime with other apps as well.

This machine will pay 4K UHD blu rays, and upscale your 1080p blu rays to 4K. I don’t use it for streaming but it has all the options available. Sony products never seem to let me down.

This 4K player does just that. It is fantastic as a player. I thought my PS3 was a excellent player, but this one is even better with the blu-ray format and of course, for its purpose, 4K. The interface for use could be a little bit better, but that is minor especially for the price.

Returned a LG blue ray player because of trouble connecting to Netflex which I had no problem with this sony unit. Still trying to get content from my computer on to the TV thru the family network.

I’ve had some problems with 4K players recently and out of the ones I’ve had lately, this is the best. It offers picture and sound better than standard Blu-ray players. I recommend it.

Our old system died, and this one was on sale so we tried it. It handles DVDs, CDs, Blu-Ray and 4K. It was relatively easy to integrate with our other existing equipment, and is very easy to use. A keeper!

I couldn’t ask for a better deal than I got with this Sony 4 player.The picture is outstanding and up converts blu ray dvds as well as regular dvds to a better quality picture.You cannot go wrong with this 4k player.

One of the cheapest 4k players on the market does a great job in up converting my 1080P blu rays disc. The interface is quick and has Dolby Vision for 4k UHD blu ray. Nothing to complain about.

I choose this player because of its' abilities. There are very few players that can use Dolby Vision, and this one was available from Best Buy for $150! That's less than 1/3rd of the Panasonic I was seriously considering.

Great for watching streaming if you have the right subscriptions. I've had a (Sony/Columbia ! :)) blu-ray disc freeze in the middle of playing, so it's still not perfect. Hopefully there will be some further updates for this to fix some minor issues.

I replaced my Samsung 4K player that died on me and so far so good. This player has performed so much better than my last. Fast boot up and easy to use setup. I would recommend this player if you are in the market for a 4K player.

I was hesitant at first. After a lot of research and purchasing the product I am in awe of the detail this unit produces on my 65' x900. Phenomenal detail, colors, and immersive sound.

This is a quality player so far. Its quiet and haven't had any issues as of yet. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. I have had other Sony Blu-Ray/DVD players in the past and they have all worked until the day I upgraded.

I recently purchased this player and it works great! There are many players to choose from, but this Sony is very easy to setup and even easier to use. I will be buying another one once we update more TVs in the house.

Bought a Panasonic blue ray 7 years ago and we hardly ever used it. It was so darn slow. This player puts it to shame. Blue rays and ultra hd disks load up really fast. The player is easy to use. And it was on sale.

Took me a while to get this fully integrated, now it is great! I had to upgrade all my HDMI cables with higher quality ones to get everything up to the 4K optimum output.

When I first purchased my 4K HD Blue Ray Player, I was so happy. It took me a while to understand the features and how to work it. However, I am so glad that I did its amazing.

Our first 4K player and there is a difference from the blu ray player including a sharper clearer picture. Please keep in mind the 4K tapes are more expensive.

I love to watch movies and previously owned the Samsung k8500 (the first 4k bluray player on the market). This player is much faster when it comes to fast-forward/rewind, and the interface is much quicker/more responsive. Since the DV update, if you use a receiver with 2 hdmi outputs plugged into the same TV, the picture may not come up. This could very well be a firmware glitch on my receiver (vsx-lx302) and pioneer support seems to think it's my hdmi cables, which are 4k certified hdmi premium cables that work with everything else I have on my system, but with only 1 hdmi outputting to the TV and disabling the sub output of the receiver, it works perfectly. Hears hoping a firmware will fix my dual output to the same TV. Other than that one issue, I love this player.

Lives up to Sony quality. Great data transfer. Perfect sound quality. You can also use it to watch steaming services. Dvd no problem. Cd sure. 4k oh yes. Amazing video component
