I bought an open box of this 4k blu ray player and it works great. No problems at all and it produces a great picture. You really can't go wrong with this player.

If you want a great 4K Blu-Ray player at an affordable price, this is it. Easy set up and outstanding picture quality.

Connects to my Sony tv and is super compatible so thats a plus. The compact size doesn’t take up much room and it plays my movies great. Only had a hiccup when I had a bad disc and thought it might have been the unit but I replaced the disc and it works flawless.

Great product for viewing blue ray and 4k disc's. Easy to install, plug the device to your tv and plug the power cord and just setup your WiFi and account and your set.

I think that this 4K player has everything you need for watching movies or anything else on 4K. Having WiFi built in makes it even better. You really don’t need another more expensive player because this has it all.

for the money . The wifi connection allows you to access all the features and applications such as Netflix and Hulu easily and quickly. The Hi-Res feature produces a quality picture . Well worth the investment ! .

Easy setup amazing picture excellent high-definition picture quality when playing Blu-ray discs. It did very well with standard DVDs, displaying the best detail possible.

I Bought a 65" 4K TV and what good is that if you don't have a transmission device that plays true 4K DVD's. It will blow you away how ever, if you peruse the 4K DVD bin at your local Best Buy, you will notice the selection of movies being released in 4K are getting smaller and smaller and soon will disappear since companies like Disney, that own just about everything movie wise, now want you to buy or stream the movies from the parent company and store the purchase in the safety of the big ole mean INTERNET, which prevents the movie from being copied and redistributed. HOWEVER if you already own 4K DVDs in your collection this baby will play 4K, Blue Ray, and analog DVD's. Well worth the money

Excellent picture, convenient hookup, and superb sound through the DVD-A and SACD disc players. The High Resolution audio capabilities are why I bought the player.

As the replacement for our old DVD player, this one is MILES ahead of what we used to have. Less bulky and handling Blue-Ray, it’s what was needed for our system.

The first unit I purchased wouldn't provide picture, but only sound no matter how I hooked it up or what HDMI cable I used. That must've been a fluke because the second player has worked like a dream, especially since the Dolby Vision update which really improves the HDR on supported movies.

Plays 4k well and I’m impressed by the up conversion from dvd. Honestly the part that made me convinced though was the hdr. More pixels is neat more depth of color is a game changer.

In this age of “smart components” we are all used to components which sort of work together but not 100%. This player integrates perfectly with my system and provides outstanding performance.

I am not a teenager, so I’m not particularly skilled at automation set up. But this was easy to set up and use. Great replacement for our prior Blu-ray. Happy with the features.

I really cannot tell the difference from playing the disc and streaming the movie. The picture is great but if you are looking to get a much greater pitcure playing disc than streaming then you may be dissapointed. I do have a LG new model with 4k HDR with Dolby vision and HDR 10

Solidly built unit, superb pictures. Physical discs may become a thing I’d the past one day, but having the bad boy around will allow you to always play your physical discs.

Watched a Jimmy Stewart western from a regular DVD on a 75” screen, it was crystal clear and looked like it had been filmed in HD.

We went through 3 units before I found this one. 1 unit would not even turn on. 3 previous units lacked on light. Best Buy was our last choice and should have been our first. Unit works really well.

No reason to spend more on the UBP-X800, We have both, wish we would have bought this one first. Works as well as and has same features as more expensive big brother. Save your money and just get this one!

We had an old blue ray player that seemed to stall and not really operate properly. So, we updated to this model. It is easy to install and operate. Works well!
