This is a good, easy to set up player. Has lots of useful apps. I hot it primarily for the Hilu app but unfortunately you can not do Hulu live on it. Other than that I'm very happy with the player.

This is a great 4K player that won't break your wallet like some of the other options out there. I have always loved Sony brand devices, and this one does not disappoint.

Great price for this one! Needed it since I upgraded to a new 4K tv. Note: for some reason the picture didn't work with my HDMI splitter. I had to run this directly to the port on the TV.

This unit offers a lot. Picture quality is great, sound is great. I have no real complaints. It doesn’t up-convert but then again, I wasn’t paying for one that does!

Bought this blu-ray player so I can watch movies that are in blu-ray format. Unit had great price, is easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought one to replace the old player in the master bedroom. Within 2 weeks, bought two more to bring 3 areas of the house into the 21st century. The picture is great!

We got the dvd Player cause we wanted to see how good the 4k movies look and it blow my mind how good the 4k movies are to watch we love Sony its a good brand

When I watched my first 4K DVD on this player I thought that I was in a movie theater. The picture clarity, color, motion, etc. is fantastic.

Had to replace my previous player due to a lightning strike on the house. What better time to upgrade? Love the smart features as well as the ease of use.

I have only had this for a month, but so far so good. I have been able to watch DVD as well as Blu-ray and it is nice being able to access online streaming using this player.

Has all the functionality I need and the clarity of picture is exceptional ... of course tis has a lot to do with the TV you're using, so keep that in mind.

I've had this 4K player for nearly a year now, and while the picture quality is nice, there is a very noticeable (to me) lag in audio. Whether that's this player, my tv, my receiver, or a mixture of the three. However, I assume it's the player because 4k audio is fine through other sources, also running through the receiver and tv. Perhaps the Sony software isn't powerful enough to process the audio as quickly as it should be. Perhaps I have a faulty unit. But I have spoken with Sony support, and they don't care to do anything about it, that it's "close enough". Well, maybe for them, but not for me, and it's distracting while watching 4k movies. Also, you can't get Disney+ on this player. I also contacted customer support and they said they will forward my complaint on, but that they know of no plans to add it as an app at this time. I'd steer clear of this unit, until they can get this stuff fixed. And I'm a lifelong Sony guy. Very disappointed in this unit, and Sony's responses thus far. Makes me wish I had gone with a different manufacturer for a 4k player.

I have yet to try a new 4K High Def Blue ray, but regular Blue Rays on a 4K TV look great. I did purchase new higher def HDMI cables. I read those are necessary to view 4K.

It works great and better than expected. Upgraded from old one. I am pleased with how good it plays movies and it was priced decently.

Love this 4K DVD Player. It only took a couple of minutes to setup and the picture is awesome. Thank you to the sales guy that reminded my that I needed a 4K HDMI cable to get the picture I wanted.

Really good quality Blu-Ray player. Load time is very fast. Lots of options and great color. I brought this product for its up scale capabilities and I have not been disappointed.

I bought this player because of the dolby vision update , dolby vision looks amazing only downside is there is a slide button you have to turn on and off to turn dobly vision on and off.

Nice performance. Have had Sony CD players in the past which would actually spit out the discs when rotating them so was a little concerned about quality but so far so good

Have only has this hooked up for 1 week and the installation was easy. And using the remote so far is easy. No complaints so far. Would recommend it to friends so far.

Very solid and well built, very easy to use, nice compact remote, they say its an entry level 4k player, but i think it's better than most in this category. Great standard app selection.
