Ease of setup and get up and watching quickly . Fantastic 4K quality and Dolby Atmos sound is unreal. Small enough footprint to fit almost anywhere.

If your looking for a real good 4K player, this is a good choice. The upgraded model above this has Hi Resolution sound but the picture elements are the same. For the price this is a solid option.

Easily connects to both my 4K TV and soundbar. Exceptional video quality. Up scales older dvd's to enhance viewing experience. Ultra 4K blu-ray discs really pop.

So far so good, plays all formats, has HDR, Dolby Vision, even plays Sacd for music lovers, great picture for my 4k TV. Fair price, wait for it on sale.

Purchased this to go along with my 4K Sony Bravia TV. Easy to setup and performs great. It doesn't consume much space and the price was great also.

Picture quality of this 4K ultra hd player is excellent. More natural look than the more expensive UBP X800, which is an excellent player as well. Dolby Vision from both UHD disk playback and Netflix streams is SWEET, and this feature alone makes the player worth buying! My X800 tended to crash or freeze more frequently than this player. The build quality of the X700 isn't as stout as the X800 but the amazing image quality more than makes up for it. And for this price (around $150) it's a no brainer. Highly recommended!

I purchased this unit to replace an older Blu-ray player, as well as to take advantage of the 4K TV that it is now attached to. I would have preferred clearer instructions about adding or subtracting the installed apps, and there was an issue with connecting to Netflix. This has now resolved itself with some help from Google. I like its quality and ease of use, and the unit fits very well on the shelf where it sits. It is smaller than other units I have owned. The real advantage was that the unit was on sale and cheaper than the next unit up.

This is the first 4K player I found that supports both HR10 and Dolby Vision, plays SACDs (and other high resolution audio formats), and is priced reasonably. Perfect for my use!

I needed a smaller Blu-Ray player for a small component shelf. This unit has Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and 3D support and the price is great. Couldn't be happier with it.

Nice upgrade to 4K ultra had. Picture is sharp and clear. Easy set-up. Plays normal blu-rays as well. Good features and apps included - Hulu, Netflix, etc.

Bought this one for my room. Very good picture quality and easy streaming. Compact size save space. This player has no display. I am ok with it.

For the price and because it supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 this player is worth picking up. Occasionally I have to unplug it to unfreeze it but I would say that has happened maybe 3 times in 4 months

Not sure why the least inexpensive sony 4k player does something the other 2 don't...drum roll...This player is one of the only 4k players period that plays both HDR10 ANDD Dolby Vision. Strange but true the other two more expensive sony 4k players do not. Now for those of you comparing the other sony's to this...If you have a custom rack setup, or listen to Hi-Fi cd's then you should get the higher models. But for movies get this guy! also the dummy model in the store is just that, the real thing is aluminum

Picked this up during Black Friday and from using it several times now, I’m quite happy with it. Easy to use, set up and plays 4K discs with no issues. Picture quality is good.

I was in need of a Blu-Ray player for our town house and came across this one during the most pleasant Black Friday event in history - thanks to COVID, there was only about 20 people in line when the store opened. The majority of my electronics are Sony, so I tend to stay with the same brand. This was really easy to connect, set up and start watching movies. Additionally, this is one with built-in Wi-Fi, so if you do not have a smart TV, this is the way to go in order to stream all your favorite shows.

Most 4K Blu-ray players are a few hundred, I was glad to find this one for cheaper. Quality is good, no issues, and the unit itself is small, which is nice
