Purchased to accompany a sony bravia 4k tv, hook up is easy and remotes work universally, over all the price was the deciding factor as the x800 was $100 more for no real improvements.

Bought this because Disney is going to be pulling out of Netflix soon and daughters will be irate. Can stream Hulu and others straight from here as well. Easy to set up.

I opted for this player over an XBox One because I'm not a gamer. This delivers unbelievable sound and picture quality from 4k Blu-ray and regular Blu-ray disks.

Nice addition to video experience. Ability to stream apps a bonus if you don't have access in a different way, otherwise just another wifi drain.

Have no complaints. Plays all of my dvds and blu ray, and 4K and also copied movies. Doesn’t skip. Picture quality is good. Satisfied customer

This Sony 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray player is a nice upgrade from a regular Blu Ray player. For people that are looking for another experience in watching movies.

Great for a basic player. Great video quality. You can notice increase resolution on older non HD videos. A plus. BUT very difficult to add all your videos options or you can’t at all. What it has preloaded is pretty much all you can utilize such a Vudu, you tube, Hulu.... but can’t add apple or some other accounts. But for the cost it’s good enough, just keeping the chrome cast on to compensate. Please note our tv is around 4-5 yrs old and beer molded or other brands may already compensate for this too. Wanted an actual 4k player and not an upscaling that could do it all and last. Bought for mother who is older. She was able to setup all by herself.

Overall a pretty good picture/sound for the price. We have, probably, what would be considered a middle of the road set up and this preforms nicely. Was easy to set up.

This is a compact player but has all the features you need. The small footprint doesn't take up a lot of room making it a perfect choice for limited space.

Been waiting for awhile to get this and it does not disappoint ! Clear vibrant pictures for your Movies and detailed viewing makes you feel as if your actually in the Movie..

I have only used this a few times, but I have been very happy with it. The picture quality is excellent on the Sony X900F. The remote is easy to use. No complaints here.
