Price was good (deal of the day), plus the video and audio quality was great! Didn't have any status indicator on the front (like my other BlueRay). But worked great.

Great upgrade from the last box! I did not realize how badly we needed a better box for streaming services, the difference is night and day.

Excellent 4k UHD player, delivers crystal clear visuals and audio. It is also an effective smart streamer for netflix and other apps. No issues so far.

I am all-in with Sony. I recently bought a 65" Sony X900F TV and Sony Z9F soundbar bundle. I like how integrated Sony products work with each other. To complete this package, I bought this Sony blu-ray player so that I can take advantage of the 4K upscaling to the TV. I have the blu-ray player connected to the soundbar, which is then connected to the TV. Pro tip: Make sure you get high-speed HDMI cables in order to activate Dolby Vision!

This is a great 4k blu-ray player at an exceptional price. The picture quality is superb and it also produces great sound. Highly recommend!

This DVD player is great for the price. The only downside is that you have to buy an hdmi cable separately, and it seems like spending that much money it should come with one.

The Sony Blu-Ray Player is excellent. It does a good job playing DVD and CDs. Also, it does a good job streaming different apps.

As other reviews have indicated, this is a great machine. It plays 4K disc's measuring and upscales Blu ray discs also. It even comes with some decent apps.

The player works as it should. One note for others that may purchase this. It is not a fault of the player, but between the player, the Blu-Ray disk, HDMI cable and my TV. I inserted my first disk, and had sound in the movie play options from the disk. But when I played the movie, I had no sound. I tried another movie, and had the same problem. I checked the audio settings for the player. The audio option was set to Auto. I set the option to PCM. Now when I insert a disk, I have no audio during the disk play options, but do have sound during the movie. It was kind of a head scratcher. Again.. I don't think this is a problem with the player itself, just a standard compatibility problem with all the components involved.

Awesome product. Honestly can not see the true end result until I get the 4K TV to show the yrue picture quality.

The most crisp picture I have ever seen on my Samsung QLED comes when playing this device. Really fast too! Best overall value, trust me as I did hours of research!

This is a great Blu-ray player. It has excellent picture quality and some good features. Not top-of-the-line but worth every penny.

With streaming available every where it almost doesn't get used much. We make family videos and play them back a lot and it looks great also

Fantastic product. Using it on a Sony 4K TV. I have quite a few standard definition DVDs and I've been very pleased at how great they look when played on this player.

great feature set and easy to use. Plenty of apps and you can add more. With the up converting feature, even DVDs look great.

There was no one to assist us with a 4K movie at any location after Christmas - the selection of 4K movies at the PTC, Town Center location in Kennesaw, GA and McDonough, GA stores were pathetic. I didn't like it when we walked in the front door of the PTC store when the associate asked us whey we were there - like we weren't welcomed. It was fine when we purchased the 4K Blu-Ray player. I am happy with this player so far, but I just started using it - with few movies since most I wanted weren't available for purchase except online.

4k and HDR support on your tv doesn't mean anything if you don't have 4k hdr sources. gives my sony tv noticeably better picture than a regular bluray player. 100% Worth

I bought this to be able to play my old box of DVDs that have set there sadly for a long time. Set-up was quick and easy and it works great.

This has been a fantastic addition to my home theater. Nothing fancy but it definitely works as advertised! Great 4k pictures and sound.
