Very easy to install. I am practically a luddite and I could install this easily. It works well and plays through my Sony TV.

With streaming, we never need a dvd player until Christmas. Our old one wouldn't load. This is a great upgrade, with great picture and loads fast.

Works very well with the hg9 tv I bought both are set to upgrade the video quality yet they are playing very nicely together.

The main reason i bought this DVD player was because it fits under my Sony TV. Tray opens and closes perfectly. Image is clean and the dvd player is very quiet.

Recently upgraded from a Sony Blu-ray player to this 4k player. The player has been reliable so far and played 4k discs without any trouble. However, the player does run much louder than the old Blu-ray player, and feels flimsier as well. In addition, there is a manual On/Off button on the right corner of the player, which is extremely touch-sensitive and situated such that it's very easy to press it by accident if you're trying to reach around the player to adjust any connections, etc. and happen to brush your hand around the corner of the player. However, for the cost, it's a decent and reliable (so far) player.

Great player. Got it for the 3D. It's better than the previous more expensive Sony blu-ray player I purchased. No issues so far.

This has beautiful picture when viewing any dvd/Blueray or using it for Netflix/Hulu ...anything. If you use it for Netflix etc everything downloads in an instant.

I always love the ease of use of the Sony bluray players especially with regards to using with universal remotes, in particular the URC brand of remotes. This is NOT the 4K player or up convert to 4K.

Purchased this to replace an older Samsung model. Nice upgrade to 4K ultra HD.

I bought my Sony 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player to complement my Samsung 4k 65" television, this was a great addition to my surround system. Highly recommend it.

I think it works amazing, I can watch all my old dvds and I’ve noticed the upscaling with this player definitely recommend it

Good solid unit for the price caught it on sale even better. Fast upload and upscaling on 1080P discs. Love the dual HDMI makes it easy if you have an older AVR that doesn't have EARC.

The picture on my Tv is so much clearer and colors are so vibrant. I would purchase again and again. Now I want a bigger TV.

UltraHD quality with 4K dvds is great on this DVD player. While I seem to be using streaming more and more for recent movies, I like that this DVD player does an awesome job upconverting older standard dvds.

When I connected this device to my home theater everything seemed to be better. The image was crisp and the sound was magnificent. I'm very happy with my purchase

Needed a 4k capable blueray. Have a Roku TV that is 4k. Next model has extra stuff but that is what is in my thoughts already. It's a Sony. Always reliable for me

Great unit, up converts to 4K for excellent video clarity on my 85”. Also has a great smart apps if you don’t have on your rv.

I was impressed with the ease of set up and function. The resolution is brilliant and the interface is simple, very friendly.

As soon as it was connected and I put in my wifi credentials it worked. Plays cds and dvds well and has a host of options like Netflix in the app menu. Great player.
