I’m very pleased with the Sony Blu-ray player. It’s compact and user friendly.

This compact model has easy to use features, is Wi-fi compatible. Plays CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs with equal proficiency. It provides excellent sound, and a sharp picture, even with a Samsung component TV. I expect years of enjoyment from this inexpensive player!

just wanted a basic player to watch bluray, , and not for the internet features ... working for about a month so far ... and prefer sony because of my other sony componets for compatibilites , just not happy that using my ps3 xbox does have give the controls with a remote ... even though i bought a remote for the ps3 too that it does not work to control watching blueray movies and features

Was loaned the entire 6 seasons of Game of Thrones...on blu-ray. Wouldn't be a problem if I had a blu-ray player but I don't...or didn't. Love the Sony brand and needed a minimalist player. For $70 this totally does the trick. The apps that come with it aren't terribly useful to me but could be for someone who doesn't have a smart phone or smart TV or smart tablet... It's not the smoothest working machine but, blu-ray? check, inexpensive? check.

This is a great Blu-ray player for beginners ! For those of us, finally moving to blu-rays, this one for you. It's so easy to set up ! It plays both Blu-rays & DVDs beautifully ! I think, it improves a dvd's play back, because, at times, if I didn't keep checking what disk I put in, it makes dvd play back, just as lovely as blu-rays .

Region free player. Needed a player to watcher a concert bluray ordered from Japan and this did the trick

10 days ago I had to replace an old DVD/VHS player that finally quit. I didn't even realize that you can't find plain old DVD/VHS any more.!This player was suggested by the Geek Squad and has been terrific so far. It is so easy to use that I have already fallen in love with it. Best of all I really love the small size of the machine. Great purchase.

This is the 3rd Sony player I’ve bought, and they never fail to disappoint. The unit is easy to set up to the internet, ease of use is great. Plays discs very well including BluRay. Great value for the money as it’s not the cheapest, and it’s not expensive either. Quality build too. Solid. Worth every cent.

I'm really impressed with the Sony-Streaming Audio Blu-ray player. It's small and can easily fit on any type of entertainment center or dresser drawer. It was simple to get set up. The remote has a lot of features to navigate through movies. The quality of the DVD's being played is great. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent Blu-ray player! It has a simple design and is very easy to navigate and use. It plays Blu-ray Discs and DVD’s. It also comes with capabilities for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and much more so if you don’t have a smart tv you can use this player for those. It is a great product at a reasonable price. I would recommend this to everyone.

I did spend much time reviewing other customers' reviews on this item and also spent some time talking and getting advises from best buy associates prior to making my final choice on this current selection. I like the fact that it is of simple design, operation, and use. I also like the idea of playing both Blue-ray and DVD discs in superb quality of sharpness on this player.

Set up was easy and plays discs, great picture and small in size

Owned Sony before and continue to like them. Have only used the blu-ray player functions. Straight forward. Easy to connect to TV with HDMI cord. Remote is easy to use. Like the small size. Added bonus if you connect to Sony TV - auto recognition. If you want to use streaming functions, I believe you have to use Ethernet port to connect to WiFi.

I needed a replacement Blu-Ray player to replace my old Sony Blu-Ray player, so I bought this one. It boots up fast, it has a wired ethernet network connection (I didn't need wireless). Picture quality is great and it plays all the newest movies

The Sony Blu-ray player which manages to remain relatively affordable when you look at the quality it offers. This model has been around for some years now so the price has continued to drop, while the quality remains cutting-edge.

Hooked up very easy to my 7 year old TV; came up right away, no hassles. The small light remote is excellent. Picture and sound quality excellent, although this is my first experience with blue-ray so I have no comparison. Great deal for the price! - I highly recommend it.

I bought this one at a Best Buy location after realizing we didn't have any DVD player in our house and we were gifted some DVD's but had nowhere to watch them. I was shocked to see how the DVD devices nowadays has some many other features but to be honest, so far we have only used this one to watch DVD's lol. Very easy to connect to your TV and it doesn't take much space.

Happy I purchased this product. The picture quality is Awesome. The sound is very good too. The Blu-ray player is compact and has a small footprint. I do not use the streaming feature because I already have a Amazon Fire Stick. I needed something small without blocking the signals to either device This USB plays almost all video formats

I was looking for a basic BD player for the TV in our basement to use while working out. This one fits the bill. The addition of some cool apps like Pandora, iHeart radio, etc was a bonus that come in handy. These do require internet access - wire only connection on this unit, no wifi. Sony has different model with wifi. The only other downer I've found so far, is the remote which you can program to use with only certain TV's.
