It's a Sony, what else can I say about it, except it's smaller compare to any other blue ray player which its a plus for me.

Dad wanted to watch some older movies. We also got his favorite Blu-rays. He loves the ease of use.

Does everything I need. plays blue rays, dvd's and also plays content from flash drives.

I have purchased two of these little demons within the last 2 years. The first one hung up within the first few months of using it. We could not access the disk in the drive and had to have someone dismantle the machine to rescue our disk. We sent it back to Sony, and thy replaced it or gave us a refurbished player. In December 2017 (it is April 2018 now), I bought a second player for another television. I was hopeful that we would not have any issues with this one. Four months after purchase, this one began freezing if I left Netflix paused for too long. This only happened two or three times (in the same week) before it completely shut down on me. I tried the power button, but it would not work. Neither would the remote. I was determined though! I unplugged it and plugged it in several times. Each time, I would get a little closer to Netflix. The first few times, it would make its devilish little clicking sounds I think were actually it cackling at me, then it would display the Sony Blu-ray symbol for a few seconds, reboot again, and finally shut down. I finally got it to boot. It had no apps...zero! All my information had been erased, so I suppose the entire system reset to factory settings. I stared into its black, empty depths from my display, but I was still determined to conquer it! I painstakingly logged in Netflix, inputting my e-mail and password, one-character-at-a-time. I made it to the select user screen, and it froze! I went through the unplug/plug in routine again and got it back up. Surprise! It had once again erased all my information, so I had to enter it once again. By then, I wanted to throw the little evil box out the window of a tall building, but I was only in my house where it would not have done the amount of damage I wanted to inflict upon this evil machine! However, I finally made it to Netflix, and I was even able to start watching a program. Yes!!! Then, within the first few minutes of watching it, it once again froze! I haven't touched it since I unplugged it after the final freeze. Now, I will have to return this one to Sony. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!
