Upscaling for DVD even, not just Blu-ray. The fact it can also stream is a plus but you're going to need a hard connection as it doesn't have WiFi. Great purchase for the price and I've never had issues with this brand of anything that they make.

Worth the money and plays dvds like it promotes. If you don’t stream and still like it old school then this is the item for you.

We bought this to play our mainly dvd library and music cd’s, and it has exceeded expectations on both. Super purchase price and a small foot print are added bonus, we don’t have any Blu-ray Disc so can’t comment on that.

It plays DVD's well. There aren't very many apps on it, and you can't add more. Getting to the apps is slow. The remote is very crowded, and it is easy to press the wrong button. It is small, so it won't crowd out other devices. Easy to set up.

It's small so it takes very little room. It works, which is more than our last one did. The price was good and the service at the store was excellent.

I needed a simple Blue Ray player for my smart tv. The BB team reviewed all options with me and steered me to this unit as best value - it is. Very happy with the setup and use (very intuitive). Kudos to the BB team! They could have tried to sell me a more expensive unit but sought to meet my needs first - well done.

Great buy for a Sony DVD player to go with my new Sony tv. Works great. Best Buy always is my place to go for electronic needs. I generally only buy Sony products as they seem to be one of the best products.

Purchased for use primarily to play blue ray and dvd’s. Great picture quality. External power supply a little weird but I got over that after I hooked it up. Ability to stream a plus, but I haven’t tried that. Hey, Like the commercials used to say years ago...”It’s a Sony!”

A Excellent Blu-Ray Player. Very easy to set up and use with any TV or Monitor you may have. The Quality is fine. I Love it and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great Blu-ray player.

Works wonderfully. I connected this to a flat screen tv in a room without cable to watch dvds. It was easy to connect with a dvmi cable.

I just needed a Blu-Ray player that did not have 400 buttons on the remote control. This is the best I can find. It dies have anetflix button but there is no internet cable so it's just a DVD plater and works just fine.

I needed an affordable, high quality, and straightforward Blu Ray player for my media room to supplement the Roku box. This works perfectly, runs quietly, and is very reliable. Recommended.

This is a nice and simple DVD player, which is not easy to find now. Good quality and nice features. The main reason it was purchased is because it is wired and is not dependent on the internet/WiFi to run. Set up very easy. Pleased!
