    My old Blu-ray player would often not play certain discs. No problem here. Great picture quality.

    we bought this model a couple years ago. It has failed and won't power up. Worse, the failure was in HDMI and it appears to have damaged the $1000 Onkyo receiver. The chip that failed shows that it has been overheating itself for some time.
