We purchased this product the first time over a year ago and we liked it so much when we needed a second one for a different tv we purchased another one. It's very reliable.

Easy-to-follow setup. Loads quickly. Plays all my Blue-rays with great audio-video quality. There was one older DVD that would not load. Perhaps not backward compatible with all codecs?

Bought this blu ray player to replace a 10-year-old Samsung player. It's much smaller than my old unit and so far it has worked perfectly. I love the Sony brand.

Haven't used the new blu-ray player yet since I bought for my daughter for Christmas. She has this player in her living room and requested the same one for use in her bedroom.

Running and older none smart tv? Maybe you have a smart tv the brand is no longer supporting. Simple fix buy one these.

Our 1st blue ray a Samsung stopped responding to newer discs and the remote. We also have a Sony blue ray that has never given us any problems. cant beat this at this price

Beware this unit is not compatible with other Sony Bluray Wifi Dongles if you own one for a previous player, says it is not supported when plugged in. Otherwise, a good player.

TBH, not much use, but it works fine, reads all older DVDs and new...but we have not used much since Netflix, etc. are dominating

This thing is ready from the time you press the on button. No more waiting for the software to do its thing. Also full of great apps for cable cutting.

Has been a great little DVD player for my mother. My only knock is it lacks some of the streaming applications.
