bought this for my 86 year old mom, it was easy for her to figure out how to use. works great. She is able to watch her favorite movies on it without any problem.

I love this Blu-Ray player! It is everything I wanted and more! It is great for someone who is just trying Blu-Ray for the first time. The remote takes some getting used to but once you do it is smooth sailing from there!

I love Sony A/V equipment and this doesn't disappoint. It's easy to hook up, easy to set up and it's nice and compact. Picked this up for my non 4K tv and it's great. It is a little noisy when it gets going, but drown it out with your surround system!

I think this works great for my dvd/blu ray disks. I think it actually might look better than streaming, but it does have to add apps for streaming… I just don’t use them.

Purchased for my hubs really because he is electronically challenged. It was super easy to hook up and hubs can use it. Have had no problems at all with this unit.

This was bought on the fly for a retreat. I intended to return at the end of the weekend but it was so so slim and practical I decided to keep it. Now it has replace the clunky, big dvd player we had. Good buy!

I purchased this item both for the DVD player and the built in WiFi streaming capability. Our Amazon Firestick had broken aso well as our DVD player so this seemed like a good alternative to both. Very satisfied!

Blu--ray player was easy to install and price was reasonable. I ordered on-line wish Best Buy would have suggested the proper connections and included that to purchase

I needed a basic BluRay player because my Samsung one was behaving badly. This one had the features that matched my TV and cost effective. And setup and use is easy.

This works well for what it's intended as - a basic streaming DVD Blu-ray player. Set up is simple. This was bought for my father-in-law who needed something easy to use with a minimum of bells and whistles. This fits the bill. He uses a Roku so the streaming capability is not important and I don't know how well that works. One important feature that one would not think of - you can easily tell when it it on. His last Samsung DVD player had no indicator light and it frustrated him to no end. With this Sony player you know when the power is on, and the front facing buttons work well for him.

Ordered a bunch of Blu-ray movies to discover I didn't have a blu-ray player in the house. This is a quick setup and works perfect, like Sony always does.

Years ago we had DVD players and had accumulated a number of DVD movies. However, the older players had gone bad and they were tossed out as not being worth fixing. The old machines were big and bulky. We had updated an iPad and had the trade in gift card for the previous iPad. Essentially, we were able to purchase two of these very compact Blueray players with virtually no out of pocket money. Now we can play our old DVD movies in the living room or the master bedroom. We already had the HDMI cables so installation was quick and easy. Movie quality even on the DVD movies is great unconverted to 1080p. Also, now we can get some bargain Blueray movies.

Bought this for it's slim size size, reliable brand. Nothing fancy, expect it to be easy to work with and a great long lasting product.

I needed a Blu-ray player that was affordable and of good quality and this one has not disappointed. I’ve had it now for a number of months and it plays both Blu-ray’s and DVDs without skipping at a reasonably high resolution. Sony in my eyes has proven itself a good brand and I recommend this Blu-ray player to anyone looking to buy one.

Recently bought this Sony Blu-Ray player and it works great. I enjoy the picture quality and the remote is easy to use. Haven't set up the internet yet but I don't foresee any issues with that.

This Sony DVD player is easy to use and works so well. I'm sure we'll get many years use from this player. We were able to just take it out of the box, plug in with the correct cords and off we went to play a DVD. No muss, no fuss! Best Buy lives up to its name!
