    I bought this device to replace a Samsung BD Player that stopped talking to the Internet. The Sony works fine. The only drawback I noticed was slow response/navigation through the menus. Streaming, however, is great, and the Sony player can be configured to turn a Samsung TV on/off.

    This is a solid DVD player. The only draw back is that it doesn't have Wifi and apps to stream.
