Not Easily Set Up

It refused to open. I tried everything I could think of. It made it about 9 months with very light use. When it did work it was a good unit.

Had running for years with no issues. Just had problems with this one, was open box & it wasn't tested. Brought it was & didn't work. Was able to return though.

It's been a great DVD player awesome graphics and I like all the apps I can download onto it. Not to mention the fact it's great for streaming stuff

Great player, but no wifi.

Posted .Hello OregonMike, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, the model number bdps1700 is not WiFi capable. To enjoy any streaming service, a LAN connection is required. Oscar.

The package doesn't include the HDMI cable needed to connect the device to your TV. This is a necessary item, not an optional accessory. I made Best Buy customer service aware of my feelings on this situation.

I bought 2 of these and they both do the same thing. I've replaced with with a stick which has been fast and error free.
