This is a good quality dvd/blu ray player for the price!

This is a basic player and it definitely is. works just fine.

Easy to plug into the tv for my kids room. Works great.

Didn't rate it high because I can't get it to play cd's ...just ok...

It works fine for my needs. Navigating through the different settings requires patience.

The item arrived without a power adapter. Best Buy was unwilling to provide an AC adapter -- they wanted me to pay for it additionally. So I had to return the item and shop elsewhere.

My dvd player died, so I was looking for a reasonable dvd player to replace it. I should have checked reviews, but I just went to pick this player up. Upon coming home after some issues I looked on-line for reviews. This player has a lot of features, but has a long history of problems. From firmware updates making the player unusable to numerous problems with the apps included. So I only used it as a stand alone dvd player connected to my tv. However the dvd player skipped in spaces on new dvd's and in random places. I had to return the unit less than a month of having it. Very disappointed as Sony is pretty good quality.

Worked perfectly..... for 2 months. After watching my last Blu-ray, the player is "stuck". The DVD will not eject. The remote will not work. Not happy.

I was deceived into thinking this played 4K movies. It doesn't so don't waste your money like I did.

They really didn't have much of a selection so i pick this and so far so good. I give it 3 stars

This is actual garbage. When I first got it the disc tray wouldn't open properly, but I was able to get it to work so I kept it. Now it makes really loud sounds the entire time the disc is playing, and the only way to stop it is to sit a heavy tape measure on top of it. The manufacturer warranty doesn't cover anything, and even though it has been less than 30 days I can't return or exchange at the store. And the DVD home screen looks so ridiculously outdated, it's really sad. Hate it.

not knowing anything about this disc player I relied upon the reccomadation of the sales person.

Was ok but I couldn't figure out how to stream with Flixster because I couldn't find it. Returned it.

It is what it claims, however, we failed to see it was a WIRED only streaming Blu-ray player. Everything is wireless for the last decade, it never occurred to us that it would require a hard connection to use the streaming services.

Normally you can't go wrong with Sony, but I was completely unimpressed with this product.

operates well, though the set up with the new updates downloading took multiple times to complete.
