For the price, I would expect better.

This is the second one that I purchased within two years and exact same model. Same problem would a more expensive dvd player work with my sony receiver?

This brand is pretty good when it comes to dvd players. The player seemed durable for what its made for. Would buy again if needed.

I had rented a movie and was relaxed and ready to enjoy watching it. My DVD player would not turn on. I checked the batteries in the remote and they were good. I guess this must be the life span of a Sony DVD player. Disappointed
