The little green lite on the front lites up... that's ALL it does. What a waste of time, thankfully not money as we can still return it.

I called Sony and the agent talked me through a reset process and system update. I asked if this process would fix the problem and he assured me that it would. But it subsequently started locking up. Each time it locks up I have to crawl behind the cabinet and disconnect the power so the unit resets. I have it ready to return.

It keeps saying the child lock is enabled, followed instructions to disable the child lock and still will not open. I usually buy Samsung, but purchased this one due to the compact design and Sony is also "usually" another good brand. I will be returning this one and going back to Samsung.

Incompatible with my classic movie library!

It was too much of a hassle to return and I had a spare wire at home. Hey, Best Buy, check to make sure the returned product is all there before sealing the box and reselling it.

Difficult to setup

In order to use it, I now have to 7nplug it, and plug it back in, and it may work one hour. I do not recommend.

Good for one month

Tried factory reset that was suggested by Sony, nothing. It forces itself to stay powered on and won't shut off or open the tray. Of course it is right outside of the return window for Best Buy so now I'm in the market for a new Blu Ray player again.
