Every 5 or 6 years the tech changes enough that the hardware stops supporting some sece (this time it was prime). So, we replaced our last LG blue ray player with this model. We live in a rural location where we are limited to about 3 to 5g download speeds that fluctuate. Our previous blue ray boxes (LG) would noticeably stall now and then to adjust streaming resolution when our signal weakened and then resume playing where we left off. infrequent, and pretty seamless. Otherwise, they were great. This Sony model exits the programming entirely every few minutes and makes it difficult to go find where you were (sometimes retains the info, sometimes not). We tried struggling through a show or two and gave up. Again, we strongly suspect the problems come from our signal quality. But, if that is your situation you should look for a different model.

Thus is a nice little player at a reasonable price.

Simple blue ray player. Needed for new tv. Remote can be annoying as it only lets you use the play button after pausing. I don't need streaming so I not sure what it's like.

Good price you get what you buy for had Netflix and Hulu

Purchased this Blue Ray player for my camper so we can watch movies on those rainy days. Does what I purchased it for, I have a similar Sony player at my house so the decision to buy Sony was an easy choice.

So far so good. This was an open box purchase so the price was reduced, and given a flawless performance since the purchase everyone is a winner. I was also impressed with the information, as to features, etc., that was provided. Nicely done by Best Buy.
