Happy to get this DVD player. Works great at low cost

Set-up was so easy! I had expected to have to ask for help, but no help was needed. One of my friends suggested going for a wired Blu-Ray player since we get very poor signal strength in our home. This reconditioned Sony BDPS1700 WIRED Streaming Blu-Ray Disc player exceeded my expectations.

We have been using another brand of player until it stopped working. This Sony player is easy to install and played both DVD and Blu Ray disks. So far so good!

This Sony Streaming Audio Blu-ray Player was priced so low that I thought it might be low quality; however, it is a top quality blu-ray/DVD player with beautiful images and clear audio. It is plug and play ready.

It isn't an expensive unit but it plays movies just fine and connected to our streaming services without a hitch, replaced an older unit that gave us issues from day one. It does eject much faster than the older units I've owned as well!

I purchased this Blu-Ray player to play movies in an area where I did not have the capability of watching Blu-Ray discs. This Blu-Ray player was easy to install and start working. It met my needs and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a DVD-Blu-Ray player that wants a simple but cost efficient alternative.

Works perfectly. Very satisfied with it. Had an older Blu-ray that was still working fine except a few of the newer movies we purchased would play but with none or very little sound. Got this and all is well. Like the compact space saving design.

After trying to find cords for an older DVD player I realized that this was priced same as what I would spend on those cords. Does everything and more.

The Sony Blue-ray player is excellent. I like the compact design of the unit and Sony is a recognized name in the electronic industry. Easy set-up and outstsanding picture and sound quality with the HDMI connection.

I purchased this to use in hotel rooms when I travel, its so simple to use and has been bullet proof since I purchased it. I use the wired LAN in hotels for it and its just great. I'm very pleased with its performance and it logs right into the hotel internet with no hassles.

I really wish you could connect wirelessly with this bluray player but you cant. Other than that, I really like it. It has many apps and it plays my dvd’s with no problem. Some of my older dvd’s with scratches wouldnt play well on pur Ps4, but it plays just fine with this player so I would def recommend it.

I asked the salesman which player he recommend. I just wanted a basic plug in and hit play blu-ray player. He said this is what i want. All tho it can stream if you dont plug in an internet cable it acts just like a basic player which is perfect for me.

A bluray player with the added bonus of streaming apps. Working great! I initially ordered a used one online but came incomplete without accessories/cords. Went to bestbuy to return & refund but i was given the option of a brand new unit of same brand off the shelf at the same sale price. I happily accepted & I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service of Bestbuy!!
