Nothing bad, but nothing particularly outstanding - it plays DVDs and Blu-Rays and has wifi and apps that I never use. I needed a basic player, and this was the best one for my needs. Competent but unexceptional, it's a solid workhorse so far.

Well priced and easy to use. We are using this at the office and it works great and can be easily hidden.

I purchase this DVR player for my granddaughter birthday. She just got it last Friday not sure she has had time to use it. She told me what she needed and I knew I would be able to find it at Best Buy.

I've been in need of a new DVD player for months now and decided that I wanted to get a Blu-ray player instead. So I found this one at Best Buy and it works well with my t.v. When I pause the movie I'm watching for more than an hour it holds my spot. It's even easy to work.

This DVD player adds to the Home Theater experience with the other components we have. Easy to operate We wished that there would be a DVD player that had a recording feature. We kept our old DVD player for that purpose.

This is a great player and the price is hard to beat. The remote is simple. There's no learning curve, really. It's pretty user-friendly. BUT... sometimes there is a bit of an annoying vibrating buzzing from the unit. If I move it around a bit, it pretty much goes away. I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse.

Foe the price, this Sony Blu-ray player is the best on the market! Our Sony TV automatically installed it to the system.

It was pretty much a "train wreck" that I experienced with Best Buy customer service dept. from beginning to end. I had at least 7 telephone calls that I MADE to try to place an order and in the process I was transferred over and over, from sales dept. to applicance dept., to other depts. I couldn't even understand???and finally my call was "dropped" and no one returned my call...and they HAD both of my phone numbers. I only succeeded with this sale because I was determined to get this tv on sale. In the end, i was quoted one price at time of check out and and then later when I was scheduling installation, I was told I had been mis-informed and I had to pay an addtional $200.+ before the "wreck" came to an end....AND FOR THE RECORD, I am a "reward Member" but have no number bc I have no sales ticket. Your customer service is seriously the worst I have EVER encountered online....and I shop online ALOT, but not with Best Buy ever again I hope!

It works great and super easy to use! It's very convenient to have the option to play DVDs and Blu-Rays. The only draw back was that we don't have a smart TV so we had to purchase a separate cord to connect it to our TV.

Works like a charm. Needed a new player cause the remote buttons were wearing out.

The player does what it was designed to do for a good price. It's unfortunate that there's no way to download other apps to support other methods of streaming movies of other platforms (Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc.), which would've earned it 5 stars.

I'm very pleased with this DVD player. It's compact and the picture quality is excellent! If you are hard wired into the internet, the software has an interface to connect to Netflix which is pretty cool!

Having a USB port so I can play directly from a 1 or 2 terabyte external hard drive makes this really convenient. The unit does not particularly like a 3 or 4 terabyte hard drive so perhaps the unit's memory isn't quite larger enough to handle that capacity. Nevertheless, very pleased with its performance.

Excellent picture quality,and very easy to hook up.

I bought this to rent movies and I didn't want or need anything special, just the basics. I only had this a few days when all the video stores had to close so I have only viewed a few movies but it was everything I needed.
