This is an excellent Blu-ray player. It is easy to use and the set up was hassle free. The price was reasonable.

Item is very space efficient. It was fairly easy to set up. Sony is usually a good product and this was no exception. Price was very reasonable.

Looked for a easy, simple, and small blu-ray player for my son and that's what we got. Quick set up, small, and works perfectly so he can watch all his superhero movies.

I needed a BluRay Player after my PlayStation 3 went bust. This model is a decent replacement. It's simple to set up and use. I have yet to try the apps on it, but am not concerned with them since I just want to watch DVDs and BluRays on it. The issues I have so far with it is when I pause a movie for too long, it will turn off. Second, I cannot resume where I leave off once I turn it back on. I had to go back to the movie scene selection to find where I left off. Aside from these issues, I am satisfied with this basic BluRay Player.

Great little player. We use it in and outside of our RV. The size, sound and picture are great. Very easy to use. Great price.

I am so happy I purchased this product. The picture quality is gorgeous. The sound is very good too. The Blu-ray player is compact and has a small footprint. I do not use the streaming feature because I already have a Roku 3 for that purpose. I needed something small enough to sit on a table with my widescreen HDTV and Roku without blocking the signals to either device. This device fits the bill. This Blu-ray player has everything that I wanted.

We use this exclusively as a Blu Ray player since it's connected to a smart TV, and it works great. The picture quality is good, it's easy to use, and it's small and easy to hide.

Had to upgrade from an older Sony player and this one has delivered really well! Blu-Ray and DVD discs, as well as USB flash drives; all run greatly with no issues. The player even takes advantage of some Blu-Ray discs (like the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy) and enhances them with extra audio and visual options. In regards to internet connectivity, a wired is needed but I personally don’t have any issues with that. All-in all this is a great player.

Love my Blu-ray player- size is very convenient saves a lot of space compared to a lot of larger ones. Easy instructions great price.

I purchased this when my blu-ray died. I had recently subscribed to Netflix and since I have a dumb tv, I needed a blu-ray with that compatibility. I read several reviews on several blu-ray players, and this is the one I went with. Extremely pleased. It not only streams Netflix well, it also has many more apps built in that are free and worth giving a try. Crackle, Popcornflix and SnagFlims are just a few that are worth it. The unit itself is small and can fit just about anywhere. Yes, it is a wired unit, but I think that you get a better picture with that setup. I've been using it for over a month now and I highly recommend it.

It's very compact and light, super easy set up and well-priced. I'm very happy with this purchase and can recommend to anyone who wants a simple, affordable player.

The player is exactly what I was looking for. A very competent, small blu-ray player that can also play dvd and cds. NO hdmi cord is included, though not a problem for me as they are so cheap (plus usually one is lying around). A good buy so long as you don't need a wireless connection on your setup. This unit can only connect via Ethernet to the internet.

I have a really old TV with no HDMI so I needed a connector. Luckily it did work. I was very pleased to be able to format the picture to fill my whole TV screen which is square. The remote control is a bit confusing. The information with the player is not helpful.

This is almost identical to one that I had that I was having a difficult time updating the software and hooking into Wi-Fi, this was easy to set up just like the original one was, and very happy with it.

Problem with sound older system resolved by setting audio to PCM Stereo or Surround. That simple; very good. Without the adjustment, No sound. Use 4k hdmi cable. Menu is substandard even for a dvd, and this is Blu-Ray. Picture is amazing even on my equipment. Colors vibrant; clarity profound. Sound more than adequate for older films in stereo. surround ? Go simple; get it straight. Enjoy out of the box. Small size.

You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars for a good movie player these days. Despite it's small size, Sony delivers a good quality DVD/Blu-Ray player that's got solid construction and is great for easy viewing in a non-home theater type room. It's simple to use, and with Sony's stellar history in quality audio and video for decades, it doesn't disappoint in terms of picture quality. And it's so inconspicuous, you almost forget it's there. For the money spent, well worth it! Been a fan of Sony products for years, and wouldn't you know it, Sony does it again!
