I had purchased another make that would not load Netflix. I took it back to Best Buy and the sales person suggested that the Sony might be a good alternative to my original purchase. The Sony has worked as advertised ever since we got it.

Previous DVD we had quit. Sales associate stated this was the best for the intended use. Thought about it and went back and purchased at a later date and it servers the purpose. Excellent recommendation and glad we purchased the blu ray.

This is a nice compact DVD player. Functions well and intuitive to setup. It has limited apps for online content access, which is also limited to a wired connection. A little disappointed that I could not add other apps (YouTube TV) that I frequently use.

I got this for my parents. They don't have cable or a SMART TV but with this product I was able to download Netflix & Amazon Video so now they have more viewing options. SO easy to operate and run the apps.

We were in the market for a new, inexpensive DVD player for our exercise area. This machine perfectly filled the bill and gave us video streaming capability which we previously lacked on the TV in that area. I'm quite satisfied with this unit.

I am a CPR and First Aid Instructor and all of my presentation material is on DVD. This player was excellent for my courses. Video and sound quality were excellent and the remote control worked great for advancing lessons or repeating them.

This is doing exactly what I need it to do. It does have options that I am not able to use, like connecting it to the internet, but it plays and works unlike my other one. I am glad that it is a Sony, as now it matches my tv.

I've been using this for about a month now. Absolutely no problems with set up or running. Remote is well laid out and easy to use. Only thing missing from this is WIFI but that showed in the price I paid so Im not marking it down for that.

I bought this product as an external DVD/blu ray player for watching movies on my laptop. So far it has been sufficient although I am afraid I will need to upgrade the software soon. I bought this one to replace one I bought a year ago which was already too old to be upgraded.
