I use this unit is very simple to use and it is pretty durable. I travel a lot and all I have to do is plug it into the internet cable and the room and it logs right in. No matter where I go I have Netflix and a nice Blu-Ray player.

Great blu Ray player that was extremely easy to set up. Pretty much plug and play. Would probably spend more to get a WiFi enabled player if I repurchased but since we aren’t using this to stream (have a fire stick in bedroom already) this is not a deal breaker.

This Blu-ray player was purchased for residents in a long term care facility. It allows the resident to be entertained viewing their favorite movies and TV shows. Fully meets all expectations for the product.

I bought this Blu-Ray Player to upgrade from an older model. This Sony player is easy to set up, has intuitive menus and is extremely fast. The only downside is that you have to buy an HDMI cable, which really should come with the product.

We have bought a roku and we have apple. This DVD player allows us to watch Netflix and also all our dvds. The only tough part was the remote with syncing to our sound bar. We just use our everyday remote! Highly recommend!

needed something that would allow me to stream! I was going to get a fire stick! Then I saw a namebrand DVD player that would allow me to stream also! It was a no brainier of a purchase!

Our old DVD player no longer work with our newer tv, so I purchased a blu ray. Nice to be able to watch the old dvds again! Everything synced to the remote so its easy to use.

I purchased this player to stream Netflix and Prime Video. The cable modem/router is right next to the TV, so I didn't WiFi and wired Ethernet met our needs (no WiFi on this device). Set-up was simple and it has operated without a problem.

Great little player. Still receiving updates 1.5 years later. Not noisy like other DVD players. Wish it had better streaming apps. Great quality for the price point.

Nice and compact dvd player. Using it for a boat works great with the tv. No issues.

The review title is weird, forgive me but it might make sense here. We had one of the 2nd generation Sony Blue-Ray players before. It was able to read dirty kid handled discs all day. This new one gets fussy and skips if it even suspects a sneeze was expelled nearby. That said, this one is half the price [and weight] of our first one, so it's ok I guess. I just can't let my young children hold their favorite movie discs. I enabled the quick startup mode and it boots up relatively quickly, it's a setting that doesn't seem enabled out of the box. I was also pleased that Sony kept the same remote codes so I didn't have to figure out how to reprogram my universal remote again. Some discs that no matter how hard I clean them just will start skipping about 2/3rds of the way through. The player does play burned discs with pictures and movies just fine. I'd buy this one again, it's just hard to 100% fill the shoes of the model that came before it.

Easy to setup. Good picture quality. Could not find any real faults..

I have been wanting to buy a Blu-ray player and this product is just what I needed. It is a little confusing to set up. The picture is very good.

Replaced older DVD player. Works very well with my LG Oled tv and Bose 900 soundbar.

Nice basic Blu-ray player. Not willing to give up my extensive DVD collection and it will only become more difficult to find players.
