This device is a very basic version of a DVD player that delivers great sound and sharp pictures. My previous much higher cost version required a separate cable and delivered sound of a lesser quality.

Always liked SONY audio video products and this one lives up to its reputation. Nice, very small unit. Plays all DVDs including Blue Ray with great video image. Overall, a very nice DVD player.

Great DVD player works very well and great services

This unit is easy to use (a priority in my house), works well and performs better playback quality than my now defunct payer-recorder which cost me 5x as much, ever did. Try it - you'll like it.

It works good. Haven't tried the streaming yet but I have it wired to my router. Wish me luck.

This Blu-Ray player was very easy to set up and the applications were as well. I recommend this Blu- Ray to anyone and the filter to play the applications were fast.

The player turns on quick, reacts fast with the remote, the picture is clear, and the sound is good. The included apps are very helpful.

What did I buy this player for? For the ability to play blu ray and dvd titles since my old one went caput. It seems to have a lot of bells and whistles that I don't need. But whatever, its probably okay for all the extra stuff too!

This is a great Blu Ray player for simple, no fuss operation. The additional apps are useful in certain situations. This player is in a teenager's room and she is excited to have Netflix on her older non-smart TV.

I bought this particular model because it has a USB port in the front and allows me to put many movies on a jump drive and then play them for my children without fumbling a bunch of DVDs and Blu-rays

We purchased this Blu-ray to replace an older one we had for about 8 years or so. This one is working great. I really like the user friendly set up and the features are just right for what we need!

Does exactly what I need. I mainly use it for watching movies on DVD and Blu-ray as I have a Roku 3 for Netflix and other streaming services. I have tested out Netflix on this and it works well.

You cannot go wrong with a Sony. All of our TVs have them. Much better than other brands we have tried in the past. Great price!
