    I bought this Sony Blu Ray player as gift for someone who could not afford to buy their own. I have using Sony players for 15 years or so now & although there are by no mean perfect, I know them & they work. It was, I believe, the cheapest Sony BR player of the lot. It is small & cheaply built but it is a Sony it does work. If I was shopping for myself I would have gotten a better model, most likely Sony.

    I have other far more complicated and expensive disc players but this simple player is easy to operate and the playback excellent.
