Nice basic Blu-ray player. Not willing to give up my extensive DVD collection and it will only become more difficult to find players.

My only issue it's that it doesn't have Wi-Fi( I know this model doesn't have it but still) so I can't comment how well the build in apps work. Other than that it takes around 3-8sec to play BR flicks not really a con for me. It has one HDMI and one coaxial input, kind of strange Sony didn't add optical and it has one USB input I can tell it can play my 1TB external HDD it will play MK and MP4 videos fine as for AVI kind of old by now so it won't play them, however here is a trick that might work just rename the extension of your file from AVI to MP4 sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't worth the try. The remote is small but it has all the features it needs. Overall I do recommend this BDP specially if it's on sale.

This is an excellent blue-ray player! We have watched several movies on it and look forward to watching many more on it!!

I needed something simple to use and this is just that. My father has a hard time with technology and this is pretty basic to use, just what he needed.

having one machine for DVD, CD, and BluRay sure makes life simpler and saves space in our stereo cabinet!

Nice DVD player! It’s a pretty small and compact Blu Ray player but I like that it doesn’t take up too much space!

This Blu Ray player is simple to connect to TV and comes with remote that is easy to use as well with a Netflix button!

I only needed a DVD player for an occasional movie, I stream most programs. This has technology but not I overloaded with unnecessary features.

Plays all movies easily and with a clear picture. We love having this because we do not have cable so it makes watching a move great.
