basic blue ray player; it works well; user friendly

Easy set up and easy to use internet. Nice remote.

I bought this to replace an older model blue ray player and it works great. I’ve used Sony products for years and don’t really have a lot of complaints. However I don’t think their quality and attention to detail is as good as it once was...

I got the Sony streaming blue ray as much for USB port as the video movie watch, rather than streaming, at this point. The quality for conversion seems good on movie dvd, and decent, but not as good for USB, which doesn't convert all formats apparently. The remote does not seem to respond as well for the USB either.

I bought this item fir my mom for Christmas! She got it hooked up easily. And, enjoys using it.

It was by my own fault but I was under the impression I could set up wi-fi on it. It's not a big deal because I can use my Ethernet cable but it would be nice if I ever changed it to another room. Other than that it's been great and has all the features I need. I would recommend it to friends and it fits for what I need it for

Nice Blu- ray player! My dvd player died, so I replaced it with this Blu-Ray. It even makes all my dvd’s look so much better. Great product!

I Bought This Player To Use At The Lake Of The Ozarks, As My Previous Player Was "Skipping". It Was A Good Idea To Upgrade To One With A Few Features, As Being Able To FF & To Move Up (or Back) To Another Area Of The Movie Is Well Worth The Extra Bucks

Light weight easy set up and inexpensive Blu-Ray streaming player. Would have been nice if it included HDMI cables but the price is still good.

The BDPS1700 from SONY is compact audio streamer with LAN connectivity. The USB port capability for read music, pictures or videos stored in a portable drive is a nice feature. The transport system is quiet.
