This bluray is so easy to use. I like how compact it is. It fits right on my bedroom dresser

We bought this DVD player to replace an 8-year-old Samsung that stopped working properly. We're not gamers, so this basic model was all we were looking for, and the price was right. So far we are very happy with this purchase.

Very good buy as it runs DVDs and Blu Ray. I would say though if your router isn’t close you should buy the WiFi one. Also very convenient for people that do not have a smart TV as it has Netflix, Hulu etc.

I just simply needed a DVD/Blu Ray Player that didn't have a lot of bells and whistles but was functional and was of good quality. I have found it with this one. Sleek, easy to connect, and serves it's purpose. A great buy.

Needed replacement for old DVD player. We're older so need ease of installation & use... this has both. We view movies from our local library & can now enjoy quality picture as well as sound on both DVD & BlueRay!

Modest cost DVD/BluRay player gives excellent performance. Also, very easy to set up, if you have an HDMI cable and an available port in TV. Very easy (2 minutes).

Not a tech wonk...don't watch a lot of movies....deciding factor was the price (reasonable) and the fact it would play both Blu-ray and regular DVDs....works flawlessly and was easy for this 74-year old to set up and use.

This DVD player has been around for a while and there's a reason. If you want to still use DVD this is a fantastic product. Inexpensive, easy to setup and great quality.

This blu-ray player is of a better quality than any other dvd or blu-ray player I've ever had. I wish I'd bought it sooner.

This is the second DVD player as the one we bought before our puppy broke it so we had to purchase new one. It is a good player and priced right.

For blu-rays, the player looks and sounds great. But I already had a nice player. I bought this one for Netflix streaming, as I don't have a smart tv. Well, the video will load and play great, but the download speed to the player ranges from 16-26 mbps. For HD video, Netflix wants 20 mbps consistently. I have 300 mbps download speeds from my isp, and my wireless computer is testing at about 295 mbps. I've spent hours on the phone with Netflix, Sony, and my isp. My isp has sent two technicians over to check the lines. All consensus is that the problem is the blu ray player itself. After doing some research, I've learned that when you stream Netflix on a Sony player, it passes through Sony servers, then to Netflix servers, back to Sony servers, then to your machine. During the travel through Sony's servers, much of the speed is lost, and causes an intermittent pixelated picture to the point where it's hard to recognize. The problem isn't the player itself, but how Sony processes Netflix information. Sony hung up on me yesterday when I asked repeatedly why Sony's servers are involved in the process. They have been no help at all.

Affordable. Easy to use. Replacement for an older bulky model.

Great project. We like the slim size. It fits perfectly and works well with our other devices.

We have three of these Sony bluray players so this should tell you how well we like it! The clarity, sound, and ease of use are all there. Great price and a whole lotta awesomeness rolled into this little bluray player.

The picture is really clear and I was pleasantly surprised. I bought it for the dvd player bt its nice to know that it also plays blu-ray because you just never know

Excellent product. This DVD players is small and sleek and easy to move around. It works well with regular dvds and blue rays as well.

For a dvd player with no big thrills but is solid, reliable and does the job (I use this for an installation that is on constant play) this was a good choice.

The player's performance is solid. It was also very easy to install and operate.

Purchased for a friend. He hooked it up and loved being able to stream Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu. He actually disconnected his cable and turned in his boxes. So more than Great Value I would say Excellent Value.

Even though this time i did not upgrade, decided to go with this small blue ray player from Sony, I just love Sony products, performs excelent , picture is crisp clear and easy to set up and use.
