I got this as a present for my husbands uncle and he was really excited. But when he started setting it up he realized it needs a hdmi cable and a coaxial cable and of course he didn't have it so he went to go buy it. It came out to another $30 something dollars

Kind of pricey. Have trouble with turning off and on. Can’t get Netflix signed on. Have to have someone show me how to do it. Not easy to know what to do.

This is lan only, no WiFi. It’s a good dvd player, but if you want to use it for streaming services too, it doesn’t have WiFi capabilities.

Simple blu-ray player works fine for what I needed.

I just wanted a player that did a great job playing blu-rays from the video store. Thats what I got. Does exactly what it supposed to every time.

This has got to be the worst DVD player Sony has ever put out. We have always had Sony TV's and thought that the player should be just as good. The remote is made for people with Barbie hands. Too small! Pushing the buttons on the remote expecting it to respond is a joke, you'd have better luck sending smoke signals. Thought of throwing it away but that would be doing it a favor. You have to practically break out the Etch a Sketch to get this player to understand commands.

This was purchased as an additional DVD player for a new location in the house. It's very basic and lacks WiFi capability, which was not an issue because the AVR it is connected to has WiFi. For the money, a decent quality compact player with Blu-Ray capability.

A good purchase for the best price. Worth IT!!!!!!

I think everything in 2016 should be wireless!!!!!

Could do a lot better for the price. Wouldn't play some of my Dvd's that were not from another region.

Great simple blu-ray player, just keep in mind it does not have wifi.

I guess I was expecting it to have Netflix or Hulu

My big problem is that I could not connect this wirelessly to my network so other apps could be used and didn't have the ability to hook it up with a wire.

this blue ray same brand LG was so difficult to use with LG TV and cable that when Comcast start adding Netflix I went back to my previous Blu-ray, some type of agreement deal on that model with including Netflix into the lineup.

Works just fine but it neglected to tell me I had to get an HDMI cable. The packaging an insert make it seem like this is included but per the folks at Best Buy it is not. I learned this after I got it home and out of the package.
