I haven’t been able to use my VCR because I do not have a special cord for it and when I purchased my VCR it does not come with it

I liked the first one I bought and decided to purchase another one for our guest room.

Purchased as an open box and the power cable was missing. Unfortunately the power cable isn't easy to come by. I ordered an extra power cable, and the box never read any discs no matter what they were. Streaming capabilities were limited and it was network only via an ethernet cable. Really a poor design and obviously it was returned to best buy because it could not read discs. Unfortunately Best Buy should have screened this return better before selling it to someone else.

Item was returned. Needed wireless wifi streaming. Your store did not have the wireless dvd in stock. Bought two LG 43 inches TV in the exchange.

MEH, product doesn't work and has been sitting around here since purchasing in December 2021. Missing the proper connecting cables.

The unit was great at first but after a month the unit would power up but not do anything. Completely non responsive. Best Buy was great swapped it for a new one. Hopefully the new one will have a longer life.

I went cheap because it was only going be used occasionally. Everything about it is cheap door warped with in a week.

You can stream but ONLY with a WIRED connection. This should have been clear in the product specifications Best Buy did accept return. So there's that, at least.

This is a piece of junk. Shut down entire system when playing new CD. Had to unplug and re-plug. Tried YouTube. Shut down entire system, black screen appeared while playing. Returned Player for another. The exact same thing happened. Ugh. Why 3000 5-star reviews? Must be paid reviews. This one, too, is going back.

Does what it says it will do and the internet connection is a plus.

Tried to use it, but it did not work. So I returned it. Would have anyways because who would have thought a streaming DVD player wouldn’t be WiFi?

Presently having problems with the slot opening, so I will definitely be returning it back to my local Best Buy Store for replacement.

Unit is horrible. Upon hookup via hdmi, unit would glitch out at random intervals when playing any blu ray or dvd. Image would shake all the pixels, freeze on a pink screen, then flash and go back to playing normally. Thought I got a defective unit. Returned and exchanged for another new unit. Same exact issue. Checked hdmi cable against other hdmi sources (i.e. Roku Ultra) and the cable was fine. Ended up getting a store credit towards a LG unit that worked perfectly with same hdmi cable.

Item broke within a month. Sony is trying to “fix it” but should have just replaced.

The player has plenty options built in easy to connect to wifi

I was told by the salesman it WI but it was not. WE live to far way to run to best buy every time it is not right. this is the second one we bought, the first one had trouble staring the movie.

I couldn't get this to work even if I had the HDMI cord and Ethernet cord connected. I still don't know why, the guy at the store said it should work, but it didn't so I returned it.

besides purchasing this item, I also had Geek squad install it. After they left I realized they took the product manual. I could not look up any instructions to answer any questions I still had. Went to Best buy and they showed no courtesy in replacing it. Tried to tell me products no longer contain instruction manuals. No satisfaction ! I had tipped them also like a fool!

It’s still in the box so I can’t really give a review of it yet. Wasn’t sure how to hook it up and we are waiting for someone to help us.

Such a joke that it is has no access to such a major streaming platform - TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! Didn't plug it in for a couple of months so I cannot return it, but will do the next best thing by tossing it into my local landfill.
