Good for one month

Tried factory reset that was suggested by Sony, nothing. It forces itself to stay powered on and won't shut off or open the tray. Of course it is right outside of the return window for Best Buy so now I'm in the market for a new Blu Ray player again.

In order to use it, I now have to 7nplug it, and plug it back in, and it may work one hour. I do not recommend.

Plays all the previews just fine but when the movie comes in the volume shuts off. Every time. So annoying. But with caution.

Used again once 3 months later. 6 months ago it would not open. The tech I talked to told me they had a lot of problems with and they were not repairable. He also told me it was not redeemable. When I sought out help from technicians both via phone and online, neither technician was helpful. Finally I was told to return the product. I exchanged it for another better name brand.

Quit working in less than 2 weeks.

Then suddenly it will not turn off or on, will not load a DVD. Won't do anything. We will return it as soon as we can make a trip to OK City. Bummer.

This was a gift so recipient did not open til after 15 day return time. Still have to order another cable. Don’t know on operation yet. Sorta bummed.

Posted .Hi, Ohno, Try to power reset the player by turning it off, removing all connected device. Unplug the AC power cord from the outlet and wait for at least 1 minute. Test it out once done.
