The box advertised WiFi but when I got it home and hooked it up the instructions said “wired” WiFi. What?!!! So far, it plays Blu-ray dvds. I would have preferred the less expensive model, but it was out of stock.

This is my first Sony product and I am pleased. Blue-ray player is easy to use and picture and sound quality of discs I viewed is impressive.

Real happy with the performance. Works great with my smart tv and has a great picture. I have no complaints.

This was easy to set up, a lot smaller than my DVD player and the picture quality is perfect. Simple to use.

Let's get something straight. Stereo is an effect. It is not 'natural'. Ask Pink Floyd. Two outputs is not the same as two inputs. That it is produced makes it an effect. When does visual quality become an effect? Simple. When it supersedes what the human eye - under the best conditions - can perceive naturally. Ask Peter Jackson. He was 'afraid' the 'quality of film 'cleanliness' was making films look like videotape. He's right. This is one fine machine. As is Sony's constant - quality is the finest; but this should be the last thing we buy...

I bought this to watch my old DVD's. The picture is poor quality.

Excellent Blu-ray player. Not many choices these days but Sony has always made the best Blu-ray players and I prefer this model without WiFi for the lower price as most people are not gonna be using their Blu-ray player for streaming these days. It has an Ethernet port to hardwire if you feel the need to connect this player to the internet. But has the best picture and sound you would expect from Sony!

This is a great inexpensive blue ray player. It does all I want for a great price good quality .this is a reliable Sony product you can't go wrong

Looking at the player in the lower end of the spectrum of BD with streaming capabilities I find this one to be reputable at the price. Sony is generally quite dependable and of above-board quality. What is truly sad, though, is when I placed my 9 year old, $130 LG BD/streaming player next to this new Sony, wow; the LG had a metal bottom plate, heavier components, almost twice the size. The new Sony is a big hunk of plastic in comparison. Don't get me wrong, the Sony at around $65 is fine, but "they ain't like they used to make 'em". It's a "short-life-throw-away-world".

Easy to set up, and linked to my TV seamlessly. For the price, can't beat this product.

My DVDs and Blu-rays on this Sony Blu-ray disc player sound awesome. The high-definition video with detailed and clear images, thanks to the 1080p maximum resolution, and incredible audio quality lets you hear every drop of sound. The compact Sony Blu-ray disc player fit perfect and very compact. It also includes a USB port so that you can play from flash drives.

If you are looking for something basic but quality, this DVD/Blue Ray player is it. Easy plug and pay.
