This blue ray player was on sale, never a bad idea! But in addition to being affordable, it performs as advertised. Especially movies of the Pixar variety or that have graphic enhancement really shine. We enjoy it!

Was looking for a inexpensive DVD player for the grandkids to play their movies when they come over. Not only was the price good but easy to setup and use along with a great picture. We're very happy with selection.

This Sony blu-ray player is easy to use. It plays blu-ray and dvd video. With wired internet connection you can have Netflix, YouTube and other streaming services.

This DVD/blue ray player is perfect for what I need. The quality in the picture is great!! It also so any other capabilities of going things. The price for this player was great!!!!it was an easy hook up sldi!!

Easy to use player. Remote works with my Sony TV. Played my Blu-ray movies without issues. Like how compact it is. Overall pleased with this purchase.

Not a lot to say about this little player. My old Blu-ray died and I needed a new one. Didn't want to go crazy as I don't own a ton of disks and most things are streamable now. It worked! It was a decent price, it plays disks well, and it even is compatible with my earlier Sony player, so now I have two remotes. I have not tied any of the streaming functionality at all, as I have a Roku for that. Oh, one thing that was not obvious from the pictures is that it's pretty small. It's all of about 8 inches wide. If you need a nice basic player, this is a good choice.

The sony blue ray player is excellent. It also plays regular dvd discs. Easy installation.

Very small form factor. Easy setup- didn't need to reprogram my universal remote. One note- it does has streaming apps but they only work with wired ethernet, the unit doesn't have built-in wifi

My old one finally died. Love the new model was easy to set up and program plays great blue ray . Good value . Hooked up to sound system awesome.

I bought this Sony Blu-ray player as a complement to my new 49" Sony flatscreen television. I don't have a single Blu-ray disc, but this machine plays all my DVDs and, of course, they look marvelous on the screen. My only problem is that I hit the wrong key so all my player instructions are now in Portuguese! None of the helpful suggestions have been able to correct that little conundrum. It was an easy set-up (except for the language thing!) and I was left with the problem of deciding which disc I wanted to watch first! I suppose the next step is to procure a few Blu-ray discs.

Great little player that allowed my father-in-law to play his BluRays he received as Christmas gifts in 2024, and the price can't be beat given the brand name! Recommended!

This a sweet, compact, VERY reasonably priced Blu-Ray player! BUT - and it is indeed a very big BUT - it does not support connecting to your WIFI. This unit ONLY connects via LAN cable directly! That may be fine for you if you happen to have a spare LAN cable outlet on your router AND the blu-ray player is within reach of a LAN cable for the direct connection. That probably works for studio apartment dwellers, and maybe that's the demographic Sony is aiming for with this little gem. But, alas, not for me.

It is compact, inexpensive, and yet is high quality and a significant improvement over a more expensive brand that it replaced.

I really like this player. It is very easy to operate and small so it doesn't require a lot of space. The price was very good and I like the fact I can play Blu-ray or regular disc's in it.

Looked for a easy, simple, and small blu-ray player for my son and that's what we got. Quick set up, small, and works perfectly so he can watch all his superhero movies.

This is an excellent Blu-ray player. It is easy to use and the set up was hassle free. The price was reasonable.

Very compact. Responds quickly to the remote control. Excellent picture quality. The loading tray stays open until I swap DVDs and close it (unlike the Toshiba I recently replaced).

I am so happy I purchased this product. The picture quality is gorgeous. The sound is very good too. The Blu-ray player is compact and has a small footprint. I do not use the streaming feature because I already have a Roku 3 for that purpose. I needed something small enough to sit on a table with my widescreen HDTV and Roku without blocking the signals to either device. This device fits the bill. This Blu-ray player has everything that I wanted.
