A basic, but inexpensive player that does exactly what it says it does. It's small, easy to setup, and works (so far) as it should. If you need a simple machine to play a wide variety of discs (remember those?:) this is a good choice.

Found this little gem on open box shelf on sale! Works great so it was a great deal .very happy . I love that it is small and does not take up much room for my cable box and remotes to fit on my shelf. Thank you best buy!

This is doing exactly what I need it to do. It does have options that I am not able to use, like connecting it to the internet, but it plays and works unlike my other one. I am glad that it is a Sony, as now it matches my tv.

I purchased this player to stream Netflix and Prime Video. The cable modem/router is right next to the TV, so I didn't WiFi and wired Ethernet met our needs (no WiFi on this device). Set-up was simple and it has operated without a problem.

This blu ray player is great. It's the 4th one we've purchased so it goes without saying that we are quite happy with it. Bang for the buck it's the best one out there with a quality brand name.

It is a good blue ray device, and this 50 character minimum is extremely annoying

The price for this technology is up across the board due to inflation, and possibly because people are buying movies on disc again with streaming becoming so expensive and adding ads into everything. As such, it doesn't do a whole lot more than the basics for what you pay, but it functions as it should. I've had a Sony Blu-Ray of a similar model before, and it lasted a few years before it went wonky. We'll see how long this one lasts. I only recommend it because it is one of the cheaper ones if you just need basic playback.

Bought this an an upgrade. My old DVD player didn’t have an HDMI port so I wasn’t able to connect it to my TV. This one is great. Easy set up, love the little remote. 10/10

I saved a little money on this on an open box deal. even though it apparently was a returned everything was in there and it was in excellent shape. And it's Sony so it's easy to use.
