I just wanted a basic blu-ray player (didn't need a smart one with wi-fi) and this one certainly has delivered. Also have used it to play CDs through the sound system on my TV and it works wonderfully.

This device is a very basic version of a DVD player that delivers great sound and sharp pictures. My previous much higher cost version required a separate cable and delivered sound of a lesser quality.

replaced our very old player, and it is so easy to use, i wish we would have gotten this sooner.

Got a new tv and the old tv/vcr player was not really compatible with it. Bought Sony player so it should be compatible with the new tv. Works great, is compact, and is easy to operate.

There aren't many Blu-ray players left but this one is perfect!

Always liked SONY audio video products and this one lives up to its reputation. Nice, very small unit. Plays all DVDs including Blue Ray with great video image. Overall, a very nice DVD player.

This unit is easy to use (a priority in my house), works well and performs better playback quality than my now defunct payer-recorder which cost me 5x as much, ever did. Try it - you'll like it.

Works grea with samsung TV. Blurays look crystal clear.

I don't mind buying open box items that have been inspected for damage or missing parts. I live in Virginia and this item indicated that it was from another store in Virginia. However, when I purchased it the shipping notice showed this blu-ray player was being sent from California and the delivery took over a week. Normally waiting that long is not a big deal but I needed to replace my broken DVD player.

This Blu-Ray player was very easy to set up and the applications were as well. I recommend this Blu- Ray to anyone and the filter to play the applications were fast.

I bought this particular model because it has a USB port in the front and allows me to put many movies on a jump drive and then play them for my children without fumbling a bunch of DVDs and Blu-rays
