I Bouygues this blue ray player for my mother who's in her 80's. She has a hard time learning new things but, this blue ray player was simple enough to where she learned how to use it quickly. It has very good picture quality.

Do not hook up to the Internet!! When you watch a movie you will lose audio at the 20 minute mark due to the movie companies installing some kind of software that will track you.I disconnected mine from the the Internet and everything works fine.

I was looking for an inexpensive DVD player to watch an MP4 file that was burned to a DVD. This did the trick so I am very happy with my purchase.

Dvd player works really good.......I normally buy one of these every year, my daughter plays dvd's 24/7, so they only last about a year, I will be back year to get another one!

This Blu-ray player is one of the best I have ever a hug. The picture is nice and bright the colors pop out at you. Very nice Blu-ray player. I would definitely recommend this item

I wanted to upgrade to a blue ray player and didn't want to spend a lot and this was a great purchase I would recommend to anyone. Easy set up, simple menus and outstanding video quality

Appears simple to use based on training by installers. Have not yet used this item.

This DVD player is amazing. I'm able to watch movies without anything skipping anymore. It wasn't expensive for what you're getting! I would buy one for multiple TV's if I had multiple TV's

Great DVD machine. Haven't tried the dual-purpose CD function by itself- don't have a better audio system.

We replaced our old Sony Suround sys.with this Sony - BDPS1700 Streaming Blu-ray Playe.I have always bought sony products when possible. Great picture & sound @ a great price.

Great service at Boardman Ohio Best Buy. Directed towards a useful product at a good price. Something that want be out of date in a few years.

Went thru a couple other players from different brands before trying this one.. Wish I had gone with the Sony in the first place.. easy to set up. Has all the extras I wanted.

I don't know blue rays from xrays but I had to buy this, long story. So as long as I had it, I started to use it with one tv in house. Now we realize that it can see closed captioning on DVDs from the library that cannot be detected by some of our tvbuilt-in DVD players. This unit moves from tv to tv now, if necessary. Might have to buy a longer cable to reach that wall-mount tv!

Small in size but name brand of what I was looking for just for watching all our movies on a tv for the family.
