Best Blu Ray DVD player you can get. Great picture quality and awesome sound.

First off start by saying the overall price was good. It was to good to be true, it takes awhile to turn on and off. Also every blue ray DVD movie or tv show I watch it always goes back to the main menu instead of where you last left off. I can't stand the remote control. Most of the buttons are the same size and real close to one another which makes it hard to use at night without lighting. It's also really loud. I should've took it back. It may have had a manufacturer defect.

As with all Sony products, this blueray player is a quality item, priced right and easy to use. No wonder why Sony has been rated the #1 brand twenty years in a row!

Great little 4K player looks great paired with bigger TVs. Must buy!

We tried a regular new DVD player on our new TV, but it wasn't compatible. This Sony Blu-ray player does the trick and works perfectly with the TV, great quality picture.

Good blu ray player... nothing fancy but plays movies and has nice picture.... I didn't need wireless

This is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to set up even though I had to buy an HDMI cable separately. Enjoying listening to my CDs again.

Works as expected. All I needed was a basic player and it fills that role fine at a reasonable cost.

Looking for an inexpensive player and found this one. Since the router is in the same room where we wanted this, it was no big deal to hard wire it to the router.

My relationship with Sony has always been superb. This dvd bluray player is still in line with previous purchases. Great price and great item!

My only issue it's that it doesn't have Wi-Fi( I know this model doesn't have it but still) so I can't comment how well the build in apps work. Other than that it takes around 3-8sec to play BR flicks not really a con for me. It has one HDMI and one coaxial input, kind of strange Sony didn't add optical and it has one USB input I can tell it can play my 1TB external HDD it will play MK and MP4 videos fine as for AVI kind of old by now so it won't play them, however here is a trick that might work just rename the extension of your file from AVI to MP4 sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't worth the try. The remote is small but it has all the features it needs. Overall I do recommend this BDP specially if it's on sale.

This is an excellent blue-ray player! We have watched several movies on it and look forward to watching many more on it!!

I bought this based on price and then for the name. Always have had good luck with Sony products. Plays everything perfectly, Blue Ray or DVD and works flawlessly!
