I needed this for a quick pick had friends down from out of town they really thought I paid a lot for the picture we were getting on the t v very happy with this blue ray

We tried a regular new DVD player on our new TV, but it wasn't compatible. This Sony Blu-ray player does the trick and works perfectly with the TV, great quality picture.

Looking for an inexpensive player and found this one. Since the router is in the same room where we wanted this, it was no big deal to hard wire it to the router.

Easy to setup. Had for over a month with no problems.

This is a great disc player for your DVD's and Blu-ray discs, so great that I have two copies.

Perfect size and price to play dvds. Doesn’t have any clock or glowing lights which is great.

I bought this based on price and then for the name. Always have had good luck with Sony products. Plays everything perfectly, Blue Ray or DVD and works flawlessly!

We needed a DVD player for our vacation home and camper. This one was inexpensive, easy to hook up and works great plus portable enough to move around with us,

My only issue it's that it doesn't have Wi-Fi( I know this model doesn't have it but still) so I can't comment how well the build in apps work. Other than that it takes around 3-8sec to play BR flicks not really a con for me. It has one HDMI and one coaxial input, kind of strange Sony didn't add optical and it has one USB input I can tell it can play my 1TB external HDD it will play MK and MP4 videos fine as for AVI kind of old by now so it won't play them, however here is a trick that might work just rename the extension of your file from AVI to MP4 sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't worth the try. The remote is small but it has all the features it needs. Overall I do recommend this BDP specially if it's on sale.

Bought one of these a year ago and it is wonderful and simple to use; so I just bought another one. Small, compact device you could place almost anywhere to set up; and that’s easy too! My 8 year old and 7 year old grandsons can both load and operate the player. Quality Blu-ray results at a more than reasonable price point. Buy one, I think you’ll be quite pleased.

I purchased this blu-Ray player for the media room at a ministry. It is easy to use and plays well. Easy to connect to the tv and to use the remote.

This product will fly circles around any of the other ones. It will beat the picture quality and sound of other products.

With a new smart TV I did not need anything fancy for playing my DVD's. This unit does the job, with only 2 buttons. Need to buy the HDMI cable separately to connect to TV.
