||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Sony BDPS 1700 Streaming Blu-Ray Player is alright but doesn't play all DVD's. We have some that are Blu-Ray and some are not. Not all the none Blu-Ray DVD's play; the sound will distort or it will become erratic. For the price it is a good DVD player. Nice to look at and fits in the TV stand nicely. Best Buy is the only store we will shop at for electronics, tried others but they came up lacking.
