Quality player, but auto connections disappoint

My one disappointment was that it does not work automatically with my Samsung Smart TV, even though the store clerk told me it would. It does automatically connect with the TV when turned on, but does not return the TV to the cable connection when turned off. Would only recommend with caveats.

Best Bly-ray Player for Local Media Playback

But that brings us to its only problem, the main startup menu. The main menu when you start this player up shows a large screen that wants you to put apps on it. Considering this player has no wifi, it is better suited for playing local media on disks, or USB drives. All this app stuff is just noise.

Connecting to my newer Samsung Smart TV and working very well. I had to upgrade to get an HDMI connection. I like the remote, which has all the buttons clearly labeld
